Hell friends, I am looking for a parallel flow condenser (14inch * 17inch) and a 24V Compressor to fix to a Mitsubishi 4DR5 J44 Jeep. I went to panchikawaththa and little hard to find those. If anyone know a place to buy or something about those please post a reply. Thanks a lot.

Hello friends, I have fixed a new radio to my 4DR5 J44 Jeep. The radio is 12V and the vehicle is on 24V. So first I used a 24V - 12V Converter (10Amp) and after fixing it the batteries were getting weak such as if I keep the vehicle idle for 4-5days its hard even to start also. So I throw away the converter (which I bough it from Petta market - 2nd cross street) and connect the radio directly to a one battery (+ wire) and got the (-) from the body. But the problem did not end. I checked and found that when I disconnect the 24 supply by removing the (-) terminal which connects to the body still the current is passing because parking and ceiling lights are working (however the light is very weak). Is this because of a malfunction of the radio? Because everything goes off when I disconnect the radio (+) wire which comes directly from a single battery. If you have any idea please add a reply. Thanks in advance.

Of course Its a great idea. So do you think that normal H3 Halogen bulb fog light is ok for having Xenon? If so what kind would you recommend? However its a good idea because I can keep the original head lights while having extra Xenon kit too. Thanks.

Thank you very much Sylvi, Of course I will not buy. And thanks for your info about welding. Yes he did it well and also said it will not break again. However Its good to have another used housing and If you get any chance please reply me. And again Thanks.

Hello friends, I am looking for a Mitsubishi 4DR5 J44 Jeep - Alternator (24V) Housing due to breaking the front side of mine. However I could manage it to fix by welding. But the electrician said its good to have a new housing or a used one. So before going to panchikawaththa and other places, though to post a thread. I called Wil*ys and they said it costs Rs.69000 for brand new 4DR5 alternator. So Its better to go for used alternator (full set) or at least a housing. If you know anything about it and also prices and everything please add a reply. I really thank you in advance.

for Pericles and Harshan, Thats absolutely true. "even at low beam some car drivers used to cut into me in agony thinking I'm driving high beams on" is totally correct and It happens to me too. So you think fitting a Xenon kit will not solve both problems? In sealed beams left side light does not get in to low beam 100% and only the right side one is getting low beam perfectly. I think its how the manufacturers fitted it. However Can't a Xenon kit do the low beam and high beam switching more perfectly than a sealed beam?

Thanks a lot harshan for your information. I will have to biy Hella H4 sealed beams and fit the kit for it as you said. But fixing 12V kit for one battery would be another problem. If I fit the Xenon kit to one battery wouldn't it be used more than other one? However converting 24V to 12V is also a good option but in the market lot of converters give 5 - 20 Amp output. Hope it wouldn't be enough. Thanks.

Thanks a lot. Of course I can buy it from ebay and already contacted few sellers on those. Thanks a lot for your information.

Hello, I am looking at fixing Xenon Kit for my 4DR5 Jeep (24V & Two 70Ah Batteries) and I have no idea about it. So If anyone has experience or any news on that please post a reply. However I also like the seal-beam headlights because unlike other ones it gives the old classic (Original) look to the front (May be because of the design). So I think If I fix the xenon kit for headlights I have to replace the seal-beam as well. If not what can I do and any other ways? Thanks in advance. Nisha

My opinion is something like this. 1. The web site works fine and as most of users commented, it serves as it is supposed and I can't see any limitations in server processing time. 2. Its got so many information. The databases will be larger when more information comes. Therefore It is not important only to see the front end. What is important is that optimizing the processing speeds of the web site. for instance this may be little slow comparing other sites. (Currently we don't feel so) .. So it is great to look at the back end and front end as well. 3. I believe that any newcomer can understand the navigation, search and filtering in the web site including the forum. Lots of web sites in WWW follow this theory. Therefore in case if anyone want to redesign this it must be a more user friendly and easy to understand. 4. It is also better to consider the expansion of the business area of the web site than just focusing on redesign because already we have a good solution. What exactly need is to expand the limitations. Such as posting a video of a vehicle so that the buyers can watch them. For the forum Its really good to have a chat engine attached. A simple one. Something like gtalk. A windows application can also be introduced. Anyhow there are things that we can think. Anyone who administer this web site think that this is good idea and like to implement I am pleased to help. Thank you.

What I Found About Maintaining Batteries
Nishan.dj replied to Nishan.dj's question in Electrical problems
Thanks Mr.Wijesinghe -
Hello friends... This is what I found when searching about batteries and maintainability of those. If its wrong please post what is correct... 1. Do not wash your battery - Some battery workers say that batteries need to be washed once their acid level is low. What they do is that remove all the acids from the battery and put some hot water in to each cell and flush them. This is not a good practice and it damages the cells as some experts explain. There is a possibility of breaking the cell ingredients. 2. Maintain the acid level - Battery agents say not to put ACID again other than the first time and say to put battery water instead. However adding battery water all the time may reduce the acid level of the battery. Therefore it is needed to check the acid level once in a while and add some acids to keep its level as 1250. This may make the battery life longer than just adding water in to it. These are the things that battery workers say.. Highly appreciate if someone can make this correct if it is wrong. Thanks..
