aaah this is that time of the year!!

it shouldn't loose any contacts if everything has gone as the way it should, but if u have synced your contacts with gmail, you will get those as soon as you signed in. and i recommend that way. But as a precaution, i backup my contacts to sd card before updating.

U cant get a brand new SGS2 but u can get a mint one i guess.Went to Liberty plaza few days ago checking prices. B/N SGS2 is around 54K. and they said a used one can be found for around 35k. I have a 3 weeks used galaxy nexus which cost 65k around here and when i asked to trade, they said they can give 30k for it lol.. In SL once the package is broken, things get cheaper!

Since crosswind has mentioned that "biggest possible screen space within my budget" above sony Ericsson will not work at all ! bump a budget a bit and go for a SGS2.Can get a one around 50 i think. or wait another few months. whole lots of phones are gonna come if u have someone in the states, ask them o bring a one. what i do normally is buy 2/3 months used phone from there for lot cheaper and bring it. When i got my galaxy s like that, it cost me about 35k and it was more than 65k in SL.
