    Jokes apart, get it serviced at the agents men. You know how our buggers have hernias when every bill doesn't have the agents name on it no? With the sort of market your car attracts, it's advisable for you to keep a squeaky clean service record. What you save by not going to agents will be lost with interest in the second hand value.

    The hypocrisy in this forum sometimes... It gives me cancer. Well don it's all down to what the individual wants with his car, isn't it? If this is what he wants to do then this is he what he wants to do. I'm pretty sure he knows it's a moot investment. His car, his money, his wish. It's well and good of us to point out errors which might prove to be disastrous later, but at this point in his build, it's counterproductive to his cause to tell him that his whole idea is bunkum.

    I'm guessing it's a hole to accomodate the transmission no? So probably a square foot off the bottom? Like don said, Sacha isn't cheap, but he's worth it. Doesn't matter even if you put this on hold til you can afford him. There's a guy called Muditha Tharaka on Facebook (you can find him on my profile) he's building a perana with a 5.0l v8. Get in touch with him. Might also have some ideas about a frame. You can say I referred you.

    I think Sacha Pieris does tubular frames. Roll cages etc. it'll be expensive but maybe you could look into it? Plus get your exhaust worked on? It's just that we'd love to have you alive and not wrapped around a coconut tree

    I had the lm703 on the civic. Good tyres. They were 15,000 a pop back then. Yeah will consider. Cost is an issue.

    Go to a maxxis agent. There's one in hi street Dehiwela just opposite police station. Maxxis victra maz-3 is 13,000. Maz-1 is 12,500. They have Chinese tyres for 8500 too. Even I run Chinese. Going to upgrade a pair to maxxis due to camber issues causing uneven wear.

    Malinga worked/works on my bluebird and so far it's been satisfactory. He fixed my tacho, which arrived in Sri Lanka broken, and I plan to sit with him and rewire the datto after paint. I've seen a few classics with him. Old minis, one Morris, and some other newer gems. Like a lancia gamma which was restored bottom up. Give him a try. If he can't fix it, he'll tell you straight up. No bush beating

    Lol ramishka that was a hoot! I remember when I advertised my EK, i said "concourse condition" People called to ask what that is. Why it's not "mint" condition and what was wrong.
