  1. Dude, no that's not what I meant at all, and that's obviously no beat up old Alfa, cuz it's been taken care of so well We all know that. And no this isn't a spanking new Jap import, it had quite a bit of parts replaced which means it's quite battered. Just impressed that the opinion people have on Jap reliability isn't very true when seeing these. And it's after all a car without a soul, nothing much to protect like in a Euro, except the mech parts
  2. Instead, you too may move out to enjoy all those benefits Yes, there are reasons too for those to fall into those groups. As for Porsche (except the GT), everyone knows it Alright, first you need the girls, then you're married and got to settle down with your wife, then you have kids and growing older and tastes become more refined than rough, then you get kinda bored with the monotonous settled way, then you hit your mid life crisis, and then to your grave. The only car IMO which suits for all the era's is the DB9 in that list. Hope this cleared up any confusion regarding my statement...
  3. Yes it was the Yaris On a side note, how much did you go max on that road? It was when we went, that's why I wondered how he could make it.
  4. Well it maybe practical, but quite van like and that isn't very pleasing. Concepts with practicality usually turns into boring boxes in production IMO, and this looks good (excluding the doors) now
  5. Well you don't need to download the whole thing, do you? Just leave out the American cars and we only need the imports, so just get the iso with the cars you need/like. They're in dual layer DVDs if I'm not mistaken, and has loads of data on a LOT of cars
  6. Which makes them all 6 models here affordable for you.. I'd choose, if I ever had the chance - Early 20s - Maserati GT Late 20s - Nissan GT-R Early 30s - Aston Martin V8 Vantage Late 30s - BMW M3 40s - Porsche 911 For life - Aston Martin DB9
  7. Then a V8 Vantage or a DB9 should fit the bill nicely right? Exquisite and classy, and fast
  8. Think you're speaking about them? Which means what you might need is this? It maybe big but you asked for all car models, and I'm sure you've very high bandwidth, but be safe. Have fun!

    New Fuel Filter

Here, you might find this useful http://nissan.epc-data.com/presea/r11/3621-ga15de/engine/

    New Fuel Filter

Well the OEM parts supplier for that engine for Nissan for fuel, oil and air filters was VIC, so stick with that
  11. What about a used Aston Martin or a Ferrari or a Jag? They're kind of special cars after all Looking at this stuff is quite sad, it's just barely over SL econobox money...

    New Fuel Filter

Well yes it does, if you do get a cheapo brand which does more blocking than proper filtering and isn't of original spec, you're in trouble
  13. Sure will then, thanks! It's well worth even a trip from Kandy to have a look at this in flesh
  14. Ah, this road really takes the toll on cars, I'm surprised you opted for that road instead of the other tarmac one little further away which is longer. I was afraid the suspension might collapse or something, and the dust is so fine it goes into literally everything And you had shutters down, even for a while?? Many things needed attention after that, among brakes, filters, liners and beadings(?) were filled with dust, not helped by the fact that my dad likes to think he's a rally driver when travelling on empty gravel roads
  15. Lets hope a similar case to the Astra and JC won't happen here... And the car, well it's a funky looking concept, though the sliding doors aren't that nice IMO, it's not bad
  16. Is this the road between the main Trinco road and the road leading to Kanniya hot wells? Not too sure of the names around the area. If so, that's extremely great that an Alfa held up and surprised too after what I've heard of them, and true that's not a road, the (dust)holes could be filled with a whole car! It's a sickening ride in a Jap car, you're lucky the Alfa is comfortable. Respect!!
  17. Or have his wife behind him with a bat
  18. Oh well, guess we'll have to wait a few more days to see the monster. I'd make a visit this Friday if possible if Darin won't mind.
  19. Sunday is here Pics Peri?
  20. I'd say the GT-R or the M3, though the latter would give more driving pleasure, you'd probably be faster with the Nissan Besides, you already have a BMW.. Oh and yes, if it was a weekend beauty contest for cars sure the Maserati!
  21. Small question, do we have 954s here too? Haven't seen any for sale. Around how much do you reckon is the going price for that? As for the topic heading, mine would always the CBR series
  22. Thanks for all the info! That must have been one hell of a machine, love the colour scheme too. Always felt it's hard to get away as a 250 when the muffler is under the tail. Later got it you meant that you gave away the 929 you had right?
  23. Those are quite good prices, but I've not seen many for sale as owners seem to get really attached to them. So what exactly is the difference between the normal CBR, the R version and RR which I know to be race replica version? More power or better response? How to identify them properly without just looking at what's painted? Well here there is a massive increase in cops, and as the city is small, density is very high and you get pulled over a lot due to that. How is the situation there now? Do they create problems if it's parked on a road that means, when you're not around?

    Premium Petrol...

jdnet was kidding and MAS was just describing what he felt, no measurements whatsoever involved. If your laboratory measurement involved a dynamometer, that's the correct and accurate way
  25. They do also cost quite luxurious amounts still, don't they? Anyway, if you know the price of the car and know the tax too, why on earth was this thread opened in the first place??
