I seriously cant understand why F1 has to go green. 1. When there are so many way less maintained, way less efficient V8s are running all over the world all year round especially in "the 'Merica" I can't understand the difference its going to make by capping supremely efficient 20+ engines running for roughly 60-70 days for a year just for a couple of hours 2. With manufacturers going green we are more and more restricted of owning a V8 (in SL of course its next to impossible) should we even be barred even from experiencing the thrill / the roar from a distance?

Mates, can't give exact clause and references but I was waiting in line in a post office to pay a fine, got bored and started reading the document you get from the police station (printed on blue colour paper). In the back, it was clearly indicated the fine for not having a copy of the Revenue License pasted on windscreen is Rs. 100.00. So think there is a legal requirement. Cheers, K9M

Watched via Fox Sports Live. (Thanks again Vishkid for the link) Yes Vettel did a great drive but feeling pretty bad for what happened to Webber. He deserved that 4th and on his last SG GP. Its good to hear DTV made that decision. may be since Dialog had a promotion on this they may have felt compelled to show it.

Thanks so much guys.Found the fox official web feed earlier but thought it will not carry the full coverage apart from any interesting incidents / highlights. But have faith in the vipbox though.Vishkid, think a speed check extension or even buying a prepaid sim will definitely be worth it man...

Same with Nokia Maps. I've used older version of Nokia Navigation for a long time in SL using a plain old 5800XpressMusic. It has turn by turn voice instructions, route planning on the web, frequent stops etc. but as expected traffic and road repair was not supported over here. It was really good in finding the shortest route though, despite the road and traffic conditions. I do remember one time, taking a completely different way towards Kandy, through dompe etc where a me and a friend kept making random turns just to see if Nav can guide us back to the right track and surprisingly it did. We were able to get to warakapola only using rural roads. Sadly the new version Nokia Here Drive+ doesn't work in this region. So using GPS Voice Navigation on my Lumia 820 which consumes Nokia Maps for the Geo Data. Works well but not as confident as I was with the Nokia Navigation.

Yes certainly better than Shitty vision. But the so called agent should have sent a competent guy to explain things better. 1. An inverter supplies electricity to the gear box to propel the car forward 2. When you drive slow, the rear wheels generate electricity so that non of the electricity is wasted (Guess its a perpetual motion machine...) 3. Differences in G Grade Leave and X Grade Can some one give me a BIG face palm please...

Hi Don, Think one of my friends had a similar problem, Is the Engine QG15DE or a older GA15DE? Whichever one it is, think they have a nasty problem with the MAF where it fails to give the correct voltage. The check engine light will not be lit sine MAF is still technically operational. In such an instance the throttle body needs to be replaced as the MAF comes built in to it and sealed off. Most of our expert mechs think that the TB doesn't need to be replaced. They break the seal and try to repair the MAF by cleaning re-welding the circuit board etc. This surprisingly sorts the MAF issue out most of the time, but start generating incorrect idle voltages randomly causing these stalls. I've faced the same issue some time back in my GA-15DE and my friend has gone through the same with QD15 last year. This is just a hunch and A*W guys surely will be able to diagnose the issue. Hope this helps. Cheers, K9M

I'm not so sure whether this is a good thing. Most of these Toyota lovers doesn't have the discipline to maintain the car properly and this results in a lot of cars being end up in a sad state. As a lover of motoring and the BMW brand its kind of saddening for me...

Wow, thanks for the info Esdeez... According to the Google gods its not a V8, its a 10 limited production run, tuned by Mugen with a 2L Honda K20A. But the Mugen has 270bhp making the power to weight a 440bhp/ton. But doesn't change my facial expression which is

Vehicle Permits Information Sharing !
k9master replied to zeristo's question in Car Buying Information
So if you are taking an "Initiative", why don't YOU put some effort and post some useful information for others, then invite them to contribute? > Permits are not an unknown or a strange thing to anyone now so you could have easily listed the details the permits you know about > You could have at least searched GIC and post the information that it had. So I don't see any genuine initiative here other than trying to piggyback on others knowledge.- 33 replies

IMO Styling will change for the Alfa. These two brands can not pull off a GT86 / BRZ type of a thing as the brands are so different. At the moment both practice their own unique design queues which are well established in the respective markets. So it'll be a shared platform with completely different bodies in which case Alfa will get plenty of opportunities to put in their own styling.

Most of them do. I followed the guy for quite a while and saw that most of them work except for a few with the lenses broken. Must have been quite a sight when it was new...
