    Seriously something wrong with the comparison. Like matroska mentioned, you're not really ready to go for a Euro I think. Best option for you is Allion or Premio since you are bit concerned about repairs. Buying a 11 year old Euro won't be handy in that case.

    Not in Pettah, There are a lot of A/C units imported with renowned brand names like LG, Panasonic..it's a fake badged version from China. As you said BTU is also wrong. One of my friend fixed LG & Panasonic A/C units to his home with a great cheap deal from an individual and having hell of a problems now. better you get them from the agents as you will be free from headaches long run. I have heard even though inverter saves you a considerable electricity bill, when it comes to a maintenance you got to be ready to bear high cost as well...basically it's like a diesel engine..

    Never had an instance to change this filter. This is very rare what you are asking. According to my knowledge there is no specific indication that shows this filter need to be changed. You will only have to do it when fuel contains lot of water in it. This is very common issue with marine vessels but not sure whether you have to do this to vehicles..

    Mazda 6 or Premio..Sorento also a pretty decent choice in my opinion...The most headache free from all is Premio, but not a great choice If you not a economy concerned.

    Your intention is clear bro..but I'm really doubt about the place you are going to do the course..city and guild is not as widely recognized presently as good old days. I think better be patient and secure a place at German Tech when they start a course. If you have plans to move Australia again, you have to seriously consider your quality of education to compete with wide rage of professionals from all over the world.

    You are spot on about this statement. I have seen many of them with bumper damages.Nissan Juke has the same problem but very few can be seen in Sri Lanka.

    Both cars have relatively same maintenance cost and does similar on fuel as well. CS1 has slightly upper hand on fuel consumption as i heard. ES8 might be bit expensive than CS1. My personal preference is CS1. Important aspect here is both cars don't have same engine capacity. CS1 is 1300cc whereas ES8 is 1500cc. So doubt whether this is a fare comparison.

    Frankly I haven't used a Civic Hybrid. But I know a guy who used it for 3 years without any major issue..The car accelerates well without any problem. He sold it and bought a Prius second generation car claiming that his civic has very low ground clearance which made his travelling so difficult in rural areas.Generally hybrid batteries has a life time of 10 years. This means If you buy a car manufactured in 2007, the battery life is reaching to the end. Those stories about battery failure and disconnection take place due to it's useful life time is about to over. This doesn't mean that every hybrid battery going to be end in 10 years..

    Yeah..100% agree with you...My next door neighbors husband and wife both are doctors..and both have permits..still they use a Vitz and a Passo...the doctor told me that he has a housing loan to repay and not preferred to go for a better car...and the funny part is, there is a private finance company junior executive who bought a Sorento and struggling to complete his house...He is keeping the so called SUV outside as his car port not yet planned...It's so odd that a SUV worth 6 million suffering outside without a shelter. I don't know what's wrong with people here..

    Can't guarantee the reliability and spare parts availability on both Rio and Spectra. I think you will be better off with Perodua Kelisa probably 2007 model for 1.2-1.3 million...It's a better car than Maruti. Less maintenance and economical as well...Perodua Viva might be little bit expensive. but still worth to go than a Maruti..Just my view..

    wow.you got to be a different guy for sure..What made you choose a Euro car as your first car?????? BTW..that's a brave decision man..I owned E46 1800 cc Manual few years back and loved it you can go for a newer one for your budget. Mine was 1998 model.. Go for your choice man and good luck on you purchase..but don't ask me about maintenance cost as you can't compare it with a Jap car..If you are still worrying about relatively high maintenance cost compared to Jap cars..then Beamers are not for you mate...

    FB 15 has more ground clearance and comfort than 110...If I were you I would have gone for FB 15. The fuel consumption is little less though..

    No need to seek advice on this my friend..Just close your eyes and go for a used Japanese car..Definitely you won't regret..Even though brand new, those little Indian crap will make your driving experience a nightmare...
