  1. Sorry mate it's a spelling mistake..should be primera to be exact
  2. When comparing both these options I would say go for Passo, I haven't driven Viva personally ,but one of my friends wife was using a viva and since they were not satisfied with it, they changed to a Passo and they are very happy with new passo..in fact this is not my personal experience and it's up to you to decide. first of all ,have you test driven these two cars?
  3. VVTI you are spot on. P11 could be the best as he wants a good powerful one.and the fuel range will also be in his limits..I think he can even go for a new premira (P12) for his budget..in fact with the good negotiation skills
  4. actually i didn't hear a sound like that..but I don't think something seriously happen to your gearbox..because you were able to correct it ASAP. But If you have any kind of a doubt.better to have a checkup done from a professional place.
  5. Most probably the fuel pump will be affected..check on that..yesterday one of my friend had filled from IOC kurunegala and his Prius got stuck while he was making a turning on a roundabout..I don't know now where to fill

    Increase Wheel Size

Mate..automobile production companies make a product and let it out in the market after making a various testings. It's always advisable to use what is standard and recommend to your vehicle..changing the wheel size may cause you unexpected problems as it would lose the handling, fuel efficiency. When the wheel size is bigger it's bit odd looking for a Maruti and when you make the turns you will feel bit of a out of control i suppose..
  7. I have seen some fuel transfer pumps using in some places for diesel, but not sure about petrol..The easiest way is to get a clear rubber hose and suck it and remove the petrol..since the hose is clear there is very less chance that you get petrol into your mouth..but I suggest you to do this with an experienced person..BTW why do you drain the petrol?? what has happen?? have you mistakenly pumped Ceypetco ? guys correct me if i am wrong..this is the only easiest way I see If someone whats to remove fuel by himself..
  8. What do you do for living there??
  9. I know who you are..you are Marco Polo..ha ha ...i found you..
  10. Guys lets wait and see..there will be one more version is on the way for discussions plug in type will be also here sooner.
  11. Totally agree with this..
  12. Yes thats right..and I have seen some honda CVTs are coming even without that button..correct me if i'm wrong..
  13. To a guy who just believe that axio is a very prestige vehicle..and it makes him look rich...
  14. That tiny gear lever on prius cannot be shifted unless you pressing on the break paddle..so, in prius it's not a problem..and the unusual gear position (in second generation prius) also make it impossible to do those kind of accidentally shifting..
  15. Normally if you put the "parking gear" there is a resistance that car won't move here and there like in the "Neutral" position..most probably the sound might be that resistance..since you have changed immediately to "Drive" position I don't think there will be a big issue..I used to do the same thing every now and then, when i was using axio..cause i used to ride my bro, BMW and it's a manual transmission..so automatically without thinking i did the same thing several times..don't worry there won't be much of a problem..
  16. Guys..shall we stop this Prius arguments? coz Prius is not all about automobile..I think all members here are automobile enthusiasts, though there can be biased ideas based on the model and brand they use..can somebody start a good topic to discuss as most of the members here might definitely be tired of hybrid topics..
  17. I think IOC super xtra premium means octane 98..and Ceypetco super petrol means octane 95..correct me if I'm wrong..

    Prius Hybrid

I'm not a genuine expert of hybrids, I am a person who use a Prius 2008 model from February 2011 and what I can only say that It's doing 23 km/l average fuel and it doesn't have any problems yet..The decision is up to you..If you feel that it fulfills your needs go for it..No need to expect genuine experts ideas here, as there won't be such experts yet, as it's still too early to make opinions about this car..
  19. From the list you have mentioned, go for suzuki swift (jap)..that's the only smart choice according to your list..even chevrolet cruise also a good option..the rest I don't see a good reason to buy..
  20. Other than the fuel economy there is nothing much to appreciate about AXIO.
  21. It's not a joke..maybe it's joke for Euro cars..but this is a Jap econobox,I'm telling this because I was a owner of axio..even in the city it does 12 km/l and if you drive without pushing hard on the accelerator paddle It's capable of reaching even 17 km/l there are some of my friends who gets this figures..what made you think that it's a joke???
  22. Soluna is not a bad car..it's as reliable as AE 100..there is a reason that you don't see much of a price difference of AE 100 manufactured in 90s and SOluna early 2000 model..that's because AE 100 mostly come with Auto transmission as Soluna comes with manual transmission..and there is a possibility that it may assemble in some other country.Like vios and hilux made in Thailand
  23. You can't compare these two cars..both these cars have different options and specifications and a price tag with a considerable gap.. definitely allion is better than axio.there is only one thing that axio can beat allion, that's the fuel consumption..axio does average 16 km/l and allion does 12 km/l
  24. You can use 3M clear tint for the front windscreen, and it may definitely reduce the heat..but I didn't see any difference in reducing the head light glare.as i was using it for my Axio..I did the front windows with 30% of dark and back two windows fully and the rear windshield i kept it as it is as i was not sure about the visibility at night (I was having a reveres camera with very good night visibility though) I think for you it's better to use a foldable foil visors as VVTi mentioned earlier for your rear windshield while the vehicle is at park..and in my opinion it's not advisable to make fully tint on front windows as there will be a high chance your vehicle might stopped by the cops most of the times..do it 40% that will be good I suppose..I don't have personal experience when reversing the vehicle with fully tint in the back..I think if you make front windows fully tint and make two circles to see the side mirrors ,that's look bit odd i suppose.
  25. Don't worry about that..still it's too early to talk about second hand market..even Viva don't have a good second hand market..though Alto has picked up a reasonable market..I'm sure comfort, feature and appearance wise Panda would be good..If the car moves well in the market..finally there will be a good market.
