    If you are hell bent on buying an allion, why not. If you can afford it go for it. End of the day it should be YOUR choice. But stiil it would be a boaring car compared to the Lancer and Axela.

    Congrats mate! Like Don said there are pretty durable cars, one of my freind at office owns one. Some interior parts like ac vents, door winders and knobs has fallen a apart, but these are due ti his poor use and poor maintenence of the vehicle. But that thing keeps running without any major issues. The engine and the suspention is in pretty good shape. Enjoy your car and unlike my freind keep the car in good shape you wont be disapointed.

    2003/04 Allion 240 is pretty old and the 1.5 is a boring car to drive, There are better looking newer vehicles in the market. What about a 2007 mazda Axela or a 2007 Lancer Ex? But they wont be economical as the Alion. If you stretch your budget a little bit more you maybe able to get a 2007 Axio X grade.

    I agree with Schiffer, its just 2 nights what real harm could it do to the city? But imo its wise to avoid the roads surrounding the Dalada Maligawa. Would be interesting running around the kandy lake road say upto Ampitiya junction, by passing the city.     Hmm probably, didnt look at it much but thought it displayed negative results of employees in red and It was changing quickly. Going there on Monday again will have a thorough look at it then.

    The Virtusa hq is in Orion City IT park now isnt it? I ones went there and saw some big ass TVs at the reception area displaying info about employees who havent completed their targets or are behind schedule.

    Yes the carina is heavier and will give you low kmpl values than the corolla. and it will be hard to find a pre face lifted one below 17m. Like crosswind said Kelisa is a nice little car for its price. I remember on a topgear episode, Jeremy Clarkson hammering a poor old kelisa to its death

    Try some cushions on the driving seat But I'm like 5'5" and never had a problem like that. You will get used to it after a while.

    When it comes to a 15+ old car I would also recommend a petrol over diesel. Having said that, one of my friends own a diesel camry cv30, he had no major repairs up to date except few electrical issues. Like GyanR mentioned, its all down to the specimen you choose. AE110 is a good choice if you can afford it. Try to find a manual. Starlet also is a good car but I dont know about the leg space.
