  1. If you can find this, it would be the ideal
  2. Need a electric and external audio wiring diagram for Carrozzeria/Pioneer EQ 66 ; computer controlled graphic equalizer unit. It has eight pin male type two out put and few wires as well.
  3. Do not change the bulb alone, I guess 2001, 121 reflectors are made for halogen; so If you need HID change reflectors/retrofit some projectors as well. Else better go with a bulb like Osrum Night Breaker,Phillips Extreme Vision or PIAA (piaa cost more than usual HID!)
  4. Very true!!!!
  5. Tire with worn out threads (almost bald) has minimal risk (not no risk) of slippage on DRY surface. Thread pattern mostly help to repel water from wet surface and improve cornering! This does NOT mean bald tires are safe even if the road is dry (still road could have patches of oil/water,tire could burst or reduces cornering ability)
  6. 100% agree with komi. Those video equipment are utter waste of money. You would rather enjoy a quality audio system. I am using rather basic pioneer set up (JDM one has no full range FM ) with high wattage pioneer speakers. I was able to source an OEM twitter pods (covering the bolts of the side mirror). Since I am a bit of a Toyota JDM fan, now I am looking for a OEM graphic equalizer (Found but still not in my hand), amp and OEM active sub (OEM for AE100 type JDM wagon, very rare though)
  7. I too saw! but who care about plastic meter cluster, just remove the meter cluster from the dashboard and shake it, you will see! But surely the driver must have driven above 100 or even 140 or more than that. But rationale behind the stucked meter cluster is bloody wrong. It surely shows the thinking pattern of our police. I think ~80 kmph is safe driving speed in general at e1. Our ppl hurrying only for driving and they do not show it at their work.
  8. Just because the speed o meter was stucked at 140, who could say he was driving at 140?(may be even higher or lower) Only our "police" have done so called investigations and found, according to stcuked meter. LOL Metal broken and crushing in to pieces, who care about plastic made meter cluster!! Forget about 140, Speed kills!
  9. @ Charith H Jayasinghe, Did you only fix the lens to the existing reflector or got the full unit (housing+lens)? I only see a one lens per head light, is it for low beam or high beam? How about the other low/high beam? Please remove the front led closer to the number plate; it looks like what those three wheeler guys are doing! Any way well done!
  10. If u are looking for oem type visors, search in used spare part shop; but it is very difficult to find undamaged door visor set. (I got all 4 door visors for my CE110, almost brand new condition at a price of 3500/= from Delkanda) If you are looking for non oem, just give a search at Darly Road (Beware of those drug addicts), but they look cheep and better not to have them! Some ppl say it can be imported brand new from Thailand but had no experience.
  11. Thank Supra_Natural! I thought the same but it is not. Yesterday I fixed an AE110 brake booster and master pump kit yet no problem at all. I dismantle the leaky booster in my CE110 but there was no such a thing called a double booster/diaphragm.
  12. Those additives would simply worsen the matter with time. They just make inner rubber parts/oil seals to swell and unfortunately they have no control over it! It may be a leaky oil line, pump or steering rack might need repair. You also get a used rack/pump from a recon spare shop since CR27 is not a rare model!
  13. I am planing to buy brake booster + master pump (used) for my corolla diesel (CE110). My question is both CE110 (Diesel) and AE110 (Petrol); master pump and booster is the same or not? Some mechanics says both are the same while other says diesel one is "double" booster where as petrol one "single" I found the part numbers as follows, CE110 Master pump ->47201-1A050 Brake booster-> 44610-1A270 AE110 Master pump-> 47201-1A050 Brake booster-> 44610 44610-1A390 44610-1E180 The booster is under 44610 and apparently they are the same and only difference is the EXTERNAL reservoir in diesel car and that unit is not needed at the moment.
  14. Hope it is not the related bearing noise. Try pouring some water on to the belt, if the noise coming from the belt it should be disappeared when the belt get wet. Check the tension of the belt as well. What was the brand of the belt? ("Mitsuboshi" or something) In my car (CE110) the noise disappeared when I put the original belts ("Bando" from Toyota Lanka, Rs 4000/= for both betls); I tried all most all types of belts avilable in the local market but only the original belt solved the issue.

    121

Had similar issue with CE110. Nilwala Motors- Mr Chandana 0773027118,0112834190
  16. Nice to see that they have changed the ugly looking side mirrors seen in JDM corolla 2013 (similar to Honda fit area/city style-no offense to Nice Honda though) But for me AE100/ late 110 or 121 looks better
  17. What I have heard from my AC mechanic is that CR27 with 2C engine should not be converted to duel AC locally. According to him, cons are 1. Lack of cool comp to original 2.Chinese conversion unit not so reliable 3.Lack of engine power with D/AC on I think most of Duel AC CR27(?22) comes with 2.2D engine and the AC condenser and blower unit also fitted below the floor insted of conventional D/AC unit
  18. I use Maxxis MP5 185x65x14 in my CE110. Now they are 40000+ km. I think I could still use them for another 10000km
  19. Is it your speed o/RPM meter cable driven? Just try oiling it up.

    3M Tint

yeah. But most ppl think that more dark coloured tint mean more heat reflexion but I just wanted to explain that good uv and heat protection tint not necessarily to be dark coloured and 100% clear film should still be a good UV/heat reflection film

    3M Tint

Silvi, "Due to very few motorists know the value of UV absorption, For vehicles fitted with AC." Nothing to do with AC and UV but AC and IR waves (heat). UV does not cause heat but aging of plastic and of cause human skin.] Just to remind you that UV cut does not mean heat reflection.
  22. "Plastic welding" is that they put a properly shaped metal sheet with lot of fenestrations, behind the cracked area and heat up both plastic part and the metal sheet at the same time and then the metal part is pressed against the plastic. The melted plastic coming through those fenestrations and minor adjustments being done while they are hot and finally put water. It is really hard and never crack if it is properly done. But if you are missing some parts; then better go with a replacement.
  23. I had a similar experience (CE 110, corolla 1998), AC starts to cool less, not working when the car moving slowly/stall. In my case the AC condenser fan had been failed. According to the AC teq, the compressor get over heated and shut down as a safety feature. A used fan cost nearly Rs 2000/=
