I too personally do not like those with videos as you get hardly any time to watch video while driving and it is definitely not safe at all. Most of the passengers too not using them even they are rear mounted rather they prefer watching around or just sleeping!! Finally you do not get maximum from what you have paid and do not get much higher resale value for what we have paid as well. I prefer using high quality audio system with sub woofers.

@Nilantha, Are u sure about the prices of those used units? I saw a fully complete XE trim driver side door with power mirror at price of 15,000/=, separate dual power power mirror unit was Rs 5000 X 2; May be their price is too high!

The Don has given almost a complete answer. The designing of inner door panels are different between SE saloon (and some brand new versions) and other versions like XE. It should ideally match the colour/texture of the seats and original floor mats. I think the CE110 DX version does not have rear head rests as well ; you might have to change all these if you wanna get the real original looking. (I know you only ask for PS yet I just wanna add this just to guide you) Do not forget to buy the power mirror switch (+/- with retract switch) if you are planning to fix PM as well. You may redo the inner upholstery if they are not matching. Regarding the price, I recently saw a complete driver side door with PM at Rs15000/= at Delkanda

Is there a version called XE saloon Limited, Gold badge; in AE/CE110 facelifted version? I know this gold badge version usually for 110 pre face lifted 30th anniversary version. I have seen few 110 face lifted "XE saloon Limited" with chrome plated rear door handle, outer door handles and retract mirrors but no RPM unit which are usually come with SE saloon. Is there such version exists or just being modified in Sri Lanka?

Do not confuse with AE101 (1.6), EE101 (1.3) and AE100 (1.5) I think it is not a wise idea to compare AE100 marino/ceres with AE110 but definitly the resale value and spare pars are bit lesser for marino/ceres in spite of being a pretty sporty looking car!

Is there a version called "gold badge" in AE/CE110s facelifted models as well? (Not 110 Pre face lifted, G grades) Ex:XE saloon limited gold badge I have seen advertisement in AL saying the trim is XE saloon limited yet with few chrome plated parts like rear dicky handle, side door handles which usually comes in SE saloon limited L/Rivera. Is it just modified in SL or really existent version?

If you think balance of the price and the available options, I would suggest you to try "XE saloon Limited" as well. it almost having the all required options yet you may bargain for bit lesser price comparing with SE versions.

I think only in the trim level. Ex:Rear wiper,Full Upholstery for roof,Center locking,Key hole illumination,Ash tray illumination,Metallic paint; these things available in GL version in CR27 Lotto But the super extra version is a different story

Road is in 100% good condition, you could drive without any hassles.

Just check the condition of the compressor and see if there is any wetness due to internal oil/gas seal failure.

Planing to fix meter cluster unit with RPM meter for my 1997 Oct CE110, Diesel, Facelifted, Auto. Existing speedometer is cable driven. My question is do I have to fix another sensor/cable for RPM meter as well or will it be functioning with existing cable for Speedometer? If another sensor/cable needed to be fixed, where should it be fixed? (To the gear box, etc?)

I have seen passenger seat belt waring indicator in Corolla 110s in YOM 1999~2000, it is at the middle of center AC vent. Is there any sensor/switch in front passenger seat other than in the seat belt tension unit? (it works only when the front seat is occupied)

CE113 were manufactured during the last production line, ie 2000/2001, it is some what parallel to AE110 Rivera since Rivera too come during 2000/2001

3C, "CE110" are available, they are CE113 but haven't seen single genuine CE113 in Sri Lanka!
