1997 Corolla Ae110 G Package

I'm trying to get an answer for a friend on the subject vehicle. Little bit of research on my end didn't get me much information.

Hoping someone here would know the details.

The question was: What is the difference in the G grade as compared to the rest of the 1997 AE110?

There is no G grade for 110. Available grades something like are from top:

SE Saloon Limited (Reveira) : With all options+ additional options like Nickel handles etc, .

SE Saloon : With all options

XE Saloon Limited : Above - retractable mirrors

XE Saloon

LX Saloon : Without power shutters etc

Some are not fiffed with ABS

besides not being the 110, what does just the G grade have that the others do not or differ from?

Supposedly there is some wood trimming unique to this trim

Seat material is different??

I believe the engine is 1.5

I guess the question was to see what makes a Corolla a G trimmed version particularly in 1997 which I believe is also the 30th anniversary edition.

Unfortunately, this car is not available where I'm at so I know next to nothing about the particulars.

But I too have seen G grade AE110 (only Pre face lifted NOT a single face lifted model yet)! I didn't have chance to look into the interior, but all badges are in gold coloured with gold coloured side beading.

It was marked as "SE saloon Limited-G"

This is precisely the car that was described to me. Nineteen ninety seven AE110 SE Saloon G. The G badges are all in Gold like you've said.

yes seat material is different and comes with beige color it's more comfortable than XE saloon and SE saloon there was a diesel version to this too and some say there is a 1.6 engine version to but i never seen one badges are gold color and trunk door handle is comes with silver.

afaik SE Saloon Revere is the highest trim level and highly over priced. SE Saloon L Grade also has more options like teak interior, climate control ac etc etc

yes try to find,

SE Saloon G Grade (no have crystal lights)

SE Saloon L Grade

SE Saloon Revira

but remember all very expensive.

If you think balance of the price and the available options, I would suggest you to try "XE saloon Limited" as well.

it almost having the all required options yet you may bargain for bit lesser price comparing with SE versions.
