Planing to fix meter cluster unit with RPM meter for my 1997 Oct CE110, Diesel, Facelifted, Auto.

Existing speedometer is cable driven.

My question is do I have to fix another sensor/cable for RPM meter as well or will it be functioning with existing cable for Speedometer?

If another sensor/cable needed to be fixed, where should it be fixed? (To the gear box, etc?)

Hi,

Probably it will be plug and play case. When i'm playing with my remote start/security system, I found tacho wire under the the meter panel. (which had freq O/P changing with engine RPM). my car is CE110 Sprinter 1997 XE limited.

So chances are you already have sensors and every thing wired to meter panel.

where did you found new meter panel with RPM meter? what is the price?

just for information, I found folding mirror wiring also exists, but no folding switch in power mirror switch panel and mirrors are just power mirrors.
