  1. FB 13s have electric carbs as I know. So definitely it requires some mods. When I had the car some baas suggested me to replace with a toyota carb. Not sure if that's the wise choice though.
  2. I had a 94 CB2A. It's a good and a reliable car if was maintained properly by previous ownes. Comfortable too. I'm not sure whether the carb can be modified or replaced but yes the carb was troublesome and hard to maintain the proper tune due to wear as it's of horizontal piston design.

    Nissan Presea

You remembers me a guy in our A/L times. He was attarcted to a girl at rotary class driven by a Presea and the guy started admiring both the car and the girl at the same time. We used to call him "ado presea mehe waren"
  4. Small update: Today I went and found that we no longer have to leave the floor to find the bank to pay. There's a small People's bank counter setup in the car registration space. Very convenient.

Thanks. I'm actually hunting for a one. Most of the sellers I called doesn't even know their car is CVT. I'm afraid to make a move

  9. Hunting for a 07/08 Vitz. Finding a 1300cc seems very hard.

  11. RIP
  12. Agree. I was wondering how many Indian politicians opted to by that "4 crore" car from tax payer money. Had seen a top gear review on Ambassador and yes far worse interior than any other

  14. New Ambassador offering by DC designs for Indian MPs.
  15. Funny someone keep on lamenting on having side moldings in Premios and Axio owners getting them fixed at a cost bla bla bla ....
  16. I'm used to service my Alto in A*W service center at Rajagiriya (Royal Gardens). Pretty much happy with their service and the charges seems to be reasonable.
  17. Chris Evans to replace Jeremy on Top Gear

  18. That site clearly shows the state of mind we have here in SL. What amazes me is that there's some one suddenly drop in without a clue of the topic and simply force OP to take the advice from the big boss.
  19. wrong means pilots can't drive Altos? He seems a Navy personnel to me. Btw it's raining and the guy constantly on fast lane, tailgating and slow to respond even after he saw front van breaking. Not to mention the guy attending to a flat tyre or something is a real moron too.
  20. If you can find an unmolested one... especially 110/15s are hacked to death most of the time. Hard comparison and both categories have pros and cons. If you need less hassle for the time being, go for a relatively newer Indian, use it for about 2 years sell and go for a newer Jap.
  21. for 1.8 mill you can definetely go for a manual. For auto you have to look around a bit. I recently checked an auto Astar which was good compared to other Indian products.Interior is well put together (Indian standards ). Engine is 1000cc K10 and mated to a auto box sourced from Suzuki Japan and has tiptronic and drive feels very much same as a Jap car and way better than other Maruti cars. I meant it has proper insulation and less noise/vibration felt. Auto version doesn't give more than 11-12 KMPL in city and 15 on long distance. Manual should do more.
  22. Lol. That makes perfect sense.
