    Yeah. Looks like even 161s has this problem. This is the only unreliable thing I find there, still not a complicated one to solve but no permanent solution either if 121 swap is not done.

    If you think of buying Allion/Premio/Axio look for a first owner car with agent maintenance probably a permit imported one. Only looks for a car that is in possession with an actual owner not a sale bayya with open papers. Pay your attention to the maintenance history and overall condition of the car other than options and shiny bits. Once you find a good specimen there's nothing much to go wrong as they are relatively simple cars mechanically apart from the CVT transmission.

    I used a 2007 1.3 Vitz for 3-4 years. For me it's a very reliable ride and decently comfortable. If you think of buying a Vitz go for the 1300cc variant. Extra premium spent on that 4 cylinder engine is well worth it as it's very smooth and silent engine and less vibrations. You do feel it's a proper size car when you drive it compared to the 1000cc one. It did around 10 in Colombo and 15+ outstations and only maintenance I did was change the water pump and tires apart from regular maintenance.

    One of my friends who currently having a Kwid test drove this one. So I believe they are trying to attract Alto and Kwid owners marketing KUV100 as an upgrade from current ride. 1.2L engine is the only good thing I see there.

    Well I promised to buy something that can be parked in his drive way when selling Vitz and bought Allion which has more GC on paper. This time I seriously need more mms for the sake of car. However I might keep this car for some time as it really does better anywhere else. Will PM you if I'm into a CHR someday.

    Yes width of my current car is manageable on those roads.

    On paper they both are same height wise but as you say wheel base length plays a role along with bigger wheels. Had to do a closer inspection and figure out. Btw I'm also talking about traveling in narrow estate roads/tea plantations and problem is entrance to parents house of my wife has 2-3 big curbs in a steep down and up angled road. Allion couldn't do it partly due to front lip being little longer and low. My previous Vitz did it with few scratches every time with 145mm clearance. Cars like Altos with short wheelbase and about 170mm can do. Maybe CHR also can.

    Sorry it has to be have instead of had and no couldn't find a worthy upgrade yet. Thought of CHR at the first place but I'm not sure whether it can handle rough roads any better than my current ride. Funnily Raize does come to the picture with this ground clearance issue lol.

    Yeah. That's what I need to know. I had 160mm in my Allion too but some roads I travel demand more it seems.
