Friends, thank you very much for all the comments and ideas. I also forgot to mention there are few bends and turns on the lane towards to my home, where I used to go on the 3rd gear on my previous car Lancer 1500CC where I feel very smooth turn. But in this (1400CC) I cannot get the same bend even on 2nd gear. It starts to knock and jump the car to get stop, so I have to push the clutch and accelerate bit more to get the car steady. If the root cause is above mentioned clutch plate surface issue, is this situation also possible??? As I feel its acceleration and throttle response is ok when the car is on idle.

I'm not sure if previous owner has changed.

Every time even in flat road without other passengers too..

Dear members, I didn’t know whither this topic has discussed previously, I searched and I couldn’t find post similar to what I experience. My issue is that when I put my car in to the gear and slightly releasing clutch it start vibrate the entire car like nothing, but it doesn’t drop the engine RPM as unusually. I observed this with on 1st to 3rd gears while driving. If I want to avoid that I have to accelerate the car in to higher RPM which we do not do normally. I would like to get some idea about the problem and please share your experience if someone faced the similar issue previously. Thanks,

Dear Sylvi, I won't recommend them for any job. You might remember I mentioned in the forum how they have destroyed my power winder!!!! Go to L.P.Gunaratne if you want to buy a new winder and a door lock, because they will not let you to repair it even from other place.. Good luck..

Hi tnks for the reply, its a Carb module. Yes it has tuned about one month back. It happens when the car is in idle nearly 3-4 mins. yesterday I observed the same and it was just few drops now.

Hi friends, in a recent day I started my car and kept it idle for sometime, meantime I observed that some considerable amount of water has dropped from silencer edge on to floor and continuously getting some drops in. I’ve found that different people tells different stories about this. Pls. share your valuable advice on this.. Tnks in advance.

Dear Members, My Mitsubishi 4G32 engine was newly repaired with new cylinder sleeve and Piston rings where it ran nearly 60km's up to now. I used "lanka super plus" as engine oil. from recent days I monitored that my oil light get blink while the engine is idle after running few kilometers when the engine get hot. Can anyone advice me about which can be the problem and what I have to do to resolve this. Thanks, LancerL

I’ve given my power shutter winder to them for a repair/replace the cable and wheel two weeks back and they’ve taken more than a week to release it. Every day when I calling a guy called Liyanage was telling that they have to check stores for spares and this and that. After a week I shouted them that I need it today and I went there, I was very upset after seeing the winder, they have welded several places of it and said that they have turn the cable other side and it’s working perfectly now and charged me 950/- I wanted put 12V power on it and check, but they refused it saying that they don’t have the power supply! But luckily I got chance to get it tested from another shop nearby, I got confused. It was as it is and now cable getting more struck due to unwanted welding. I walked back to them again and said “Though you’ll say this is ok, see this is not working” then they were saying then the wheel has to replace and asking another 1500/- for that!!!!! I said I can’t give another 1500/- hence I already paid 950/- but I’m ok to pay 550/- if you’ll can solve the matter so the total job will be 1500/-, because when I’m giving this them this Liyanage said that if wheel has to replace it will only cost you nearly 1500/-. They didn’t agree, so I asked o return at least half amount, but they rejected that too... If they cannot repair they has to tell that in beginning, now its damaged due to unwanted welding and cannot repair from other place also. I paid 950/- only for welding??? Guys, is this the service that we can expect from a well known place like them????

Dear Friends, My car is 14 Sri Hyundai Stellar which engine has rebuild very recently. After the repair my mechanic said not to go beyond 40Kmph or accelerate beyond 2000Rpm till it reaches 2000 Km’s My issue is as I heard, when taking Green test they used to accelerate it to nearly 10,000Rpm which can harm to my engine. If it is the case how can I get this done? My second question is that according to the available records, the last revenue license renewal of this car is year 2006 December and after that there are no records on license renewal, also I doubt whether the previous owner has lost the license paper, if it is the case can I find it from the urban secretary office or do I have to re do it again from year 2006?
