  6. my home team was the Redskins but they suck! lol ... but we got some of the best seats in the stadium (well save the box seats). This was at Fedex Field int he DC area. First the girls, then a bit of the sucky team ... lol Whole set ... http://www.flickr.com/photos/tburah1/sets/72157622621938596/ ... but these are the girls!
  7. lol yeah they're pretty large stock ... the stock valves are 2.0"(I)/1.55(E) ... these are a bit larger and were the biggest we could've stuffed in there.
  8. Thanks god! Atleast it'll "try" to improve drivers there. Although I do remember now that I did go and take the exam first.
  9. Well, you're half right on the platform. It's actually an LT5 that was in the C4 ZR1 Corvettes ... all yours buddy!
  10. yeah that engine compartment looked too spacious to be a civic ... also my assumption was confirmed "after" I posted when I saw your avatar ... lol
  11. This shouldn't be too hard
  12. lol, when I finally got mine (in like '99, although I'd been driving since 14), I went through an instructor company (lerners) which is easier. All I had to do was go in, tell them I know how to drive and they said okay and told me to come on a date and "everything will be ready" ... they put us all in a Liteace and with the "RMV dude" basically each person drove around in circles for a while and then we had to go "stand under that tree over there" until our Lerner guy, "spoke" to the "RMV dude" ... ofcourse, that didn't happen 'cos it was SL ofcourse. Don't know how it is now.
  13. well I don't thing the painting is gonna happen anytime this year... had to pull off the heads and send them out to be rebuilt. They welded up the surface (had a notch that caused leaks), milled it flat, did a complete valve job 'cos they weren't sealing anymore (they're the largest valves you could stuff in those heads, lol) and cleaned them up and put it back together. $350 later... Now to get some gaskets and bolt them on!
  14. Honda Accord?
  15. what you don't mention is how many KM's you've done between fill ups, and compare between the two places.
  16. I would've said check all the vacuum lines and see if there is a leak, but that would also show itself when your at idle too.
  17. well this wasn't directed at you, more at the masses who go and tap a car and say "they aren't built like they used to be" and correlate mass with safety. And yeah, american cars were big and fat, just like the citizens these days ... lol
  18. Would you want to be in this tank? http://blog.cardomain.com/2009/09/16/crash...n=hp-exclusives
  19. the stripes or the hood? I've got a quote from a guy who'll repaint it all white for cheap, may just go ahead and do it. As for the hood, it's was an option on the car and came with the WS6 performance package (ram air hood/air box, upgraded suspension and exhaust gave a bit more power/handling).
  20. NICE!
  21. Have been pretty busy with work and the baby (who is 4 months now) and etc. so haven't had much time to check in with you'll and post up that much. During that time, I've even thought of selling the TransAm to make ends meet, but decided that I'll keep it 'cos with the economy these days, it's real hard to sell for a decent price (I have over $13500 in parts alone tied up in her + car). Decided to give her a bit of a boost of confidence with a new ram air hood (that's like a boob job for a woman ... lol). Got it off a friend of mine and he delivered it today and helped me install it. I can't afford to paint it to match right now but I have a few ideas I can make happen relatively cheap with some white/red vinyl sticker ... what do you'll think? Here's how she sits now... White vinyl on the sides of the hood and red on the bumper to start the single stripe... White on the hood only and leave bumper alone... Both of those would require a red stripe to continue on the sail panel and trunk and possibly the wing. Probably not if it looks okay and not out of place. some other versions on it with the racing stripes... Or the other idea is to make the headlights and a portion of the bumper red (headlight buckets and nostrils on bumper area) to make it look like a two tone effect ... although carrying that to the back will be hard 'cos the whole wing would have to be red. Taking other ideas as well so post up!!!
