Interesting to see how the decrease of Vehicle Tax Rate helped some people turn into laughing stocks. People who did not have the privilage of travelling in a family owned vehicle in their childhood all of a sudden realise that now they can afford a Hybrid & thinks it's THE CAR! These people in return drive crazy on roads by honking & speeding making our lives misserable. All because they have a car or a vehicle (include D#mo Batta's & 3 wheels to the list) which they did not have in the past. Well my EP82 does 11 to 12 kmpl in and around Colombo. Your driving style too have an effect on fuel consumption. (I have noticed people who drive like mad cows complain about fuel consumption. Not refering to you mate. ) Any way its better to visit a good place & check the fuel injectors as well as the plugs. If you haven't serviced the injectors after purchasing the car, I assume its high time to do so.

2Mil? Are you serious? Might as well put another 100K & buy a 2004 swift. I my self own a starlet EP 82. But I miss my good old days with the Honda. True it's good on petrol, but personaly I won't invest that much on a starlet.

Because if the owner is a member in AL already & not a genuine person, he/she might mislead you by giving fairytale quotations. (Just my thought) If the car is in good condition it'll be a good offer. But if it's more than 1.7, you might as well strech your budget a bit & hunt for a vitz.
