I have seen this on facebook SLTV page. I think Harshan Senadhira's comment explains it. "Looks like engine ran on engine oil. This happens when the engine is running on under compression where oil seeping into the cylinders and if the engine is running too hot, it'll start burning oil and running on it. It'll increase the RPM as there's no way to control the oil supply to the cylinder and diesel engines are self ignited and cannot switch off. If it's a manual tranny, shift to 5th and release the clutch with brakes applied. That can shutdown the engine. P.s. otherwise engine stops after burning all oil possible and ceased"

Agree with you @iRage. Also I can not imagine a owner who want to remove/disable a security feature like immobilizer from his car.

There is a same copy in one of my neighbors veranda. Mostly its laying in the veranda than on the road. Its passenger side mirror had a issue which not moving up and down and the owner brought it to a garage while I was there. The mechanic said it can not repair again as cheap/thin metal and plastic parts. After few months I asked the neighbor about the issue and said its again their.

Here is another thread, we discussed about buying the first car & learn driving for a young graduate. Difference is at that time he was seeking a job while you are doing. But you may get useful points from that thread. I am also in @gayanath and @fiatLife view because you are going to enroll a MBA in next year, If so you need to attend lectures on almost all weekends while doing the job on weekdays. That seems we can manage things easily in the beginning. You will give (honestly must) priority to MBA and delay some other small small tasks one by one. After 5-6 months some of that postponed task list will be big and force you to miss lectures to do those. When you own a car, this task list can be increase rapidly. It is said that Thomas Alva Edison tested thousands of filaments to get success. In natural science, we can test same thing again and again. But in social sciences we can not test like that. Buy a car, get marry and complete MBA. If not success complete MBA, marry and own a car. As we can not reverse the time. Most people give priority to qualifications/career. But if you jump out from the box like @Crosswind says, and can manage everything together, you may reach your goals in different way. Make a list with pros and cons everyone saying here. Include own things too to that list. Then take the decision. Good luck !!!

Yes. Kubalwela to Ella part was completed. But I can remember between Ella and Rawana falls, there was some subsidence and had to drive through right lane. See here (this was not done till 2016 May) and here (this may be completed) in google maps. As overall road is good. May need to pay special attention as rainy season now.
