This is my story of me and my Fiat Bravo. Not sure if this is inspirational, but this is about me maintaining an Italian while being broke af කාර් එක ගෙදරට ගෙනාවෙ 2010 අවුරුද්දේය. උ/පෙ ලිව්වේ 2010. කාර් එක 2010 ගෙනාවත් කවුරුත් කාර් එක එලේව්වේ නැ. මටත් වැඩි උනන්දුවක් තිබ්බෙ නැ. තාත්තාගේ hilux එක තමයි මමත් drive කලේ. මීට ඉස්සෙල්ලා තිබ්බ පජෙරෝ 1985 මොඩෙල් එකෙන් තමයි ජීප් scene එකට enter උනේ. කොහේ ගියත් යන්නේ jeep එකේ. බ්‍රාවෝ එකත් ඔහෙ අව්වට වැස්සට තෙමි වේලි තියෙනව. බ්‍රාවෝ එක 2 door නිසා මමත් හෙන කැමැත්තෙන් හිටියේ වන්ඩියට. ඉස්කෝලේ බිග් මැච් එහෙමත් ගිහිල්ල 2 door කාර් එකේ 6 විතර ඇතුලේ දාගෙන රවුම් ගැහුවා. ඒ දවස් වල අතේ සල්ලිත් නැහැ, ජොබ් එකකුත් නැහැ. ක්ලාස් යන සල්ලි වලින්, ගෙදරින් ඉල්ලගෙන තමයි පෙට්‍රොල් ගැහුවේ. මේක ඒ දවස් වල කලේ 4km/l වගේ. මේකේ යන එකත් පාඩුයි. කාර් එක ලෙඩ ගොඩක්. ස්ටාර්ට් වෙන්නේ නැහැ බැටරි ඩෙඩ්, clutch එක කකුලෙන් උස්සන්න ඕනේ gear 3ක් වගේ දැම්මාම, හෑන්ඩ්-බ්‍රේක් නැ, පේට්‍රොල් කරන්නේ නැහැ, ස්න්රූෆ් එකෙන් වතුර එනවා, එන්ජින් එක ඕෆ් කලොත් විනාඩි 20ක් වගේ ඉන්න ඕනේ ස්ටාර්ට් කරන්න, ටයර් ගෙවිල, A/C නැ, එන්ජින් එක හීට් වෙනවා ට්‍රැෆික් එකේ ගියොත්, ලෙඩ ගොඩක්. එත් ලෙඩ එක්කම කමක් නැහැ කියල මම දිව්වා කාර් එක. අවුරුද්දට 500km වගේ දුවන්න ඇති කාර් එක. 2011 තමයි කෙල්ලව සෙට් උනේ. කෙල්ලත් එච්චර වාහන scene එකේ නැ. හැබැය් බෙසික්ස් දන්නවා. මුල් කාලයේ කෙල්ලව හම්බුනේ බස් එකේ ගිහින් අතේ සල්ලි නැති නිසා කර එකට පෙට්‍රෝල් ගහන්න. ජොබ් කට්ටකුත් සෙට් කරගත්තා ඔය කාලේ. පොඩ්ඩක් ඔටෝ ලංකා එකේ හෙව්වා පියට් හදන තැන් ගැන. යුරෝ කාර් නිසා මම දන්නවා අත පය උකස් කරන්න වෙනවා කියල මේකේ ඒවා හදන්න. පොඩ්ඩ පොඩ්ඩ හදනවා කියල හිතාගත්තා. ජොබ් එකේ වැඩත් එක්ක කාර් එක අව්වට වැස්සට තෙමි වේලි තියෙනව. කාර් එක හෝදන්න වෙලාවත් නැ. දවසක් තාත්තා කාර් එක අරගෙන කඩේ ගිහින් එද්දී clutch එක ගියා සවස 5ට වගේ සිකුරාදා දවසක. ත්‍රීවීල් එකේ ගෙදර ආවා තාත්තා කාර් එක නවලෝකේ එළියේ නවත්තල. ඊට පස්සේ තාත්තා කිව්වා ඕක ගෙදරට ඇදගෙන එමු කියල ජීප් එකෙන්. මමත් හා කිව්වා. ඊට පස්සේ දවසේ, සෙනසුරාදා අපි දෙන්නම ගියා කර එක ඇදගෙන එන්න. ලග තිබ්බ ගරාජ් එකකින් මිකනික් කෙනෙක් අරන් ඇවිත් clutch එකේ master න් slave දෙකම ගැලෙව්වා. මම බස් එකේ පංචිකාවත්ත ට ගියා වහන්න ඉස්සෙල්ල. වාසනාවට ඔක්කොම ඒවා තිබ්බ ජනතා මෝටර්ස් එකේ. 8000ක් දීලා අරන් ඇවිල්ල හයි කලා, පොතේ තිබ්බෙත් 12500යි. පලවෙනි පාර මම පංචිකාවත්ත ට ගිය. ඊටපස්සේත් කාර් එක අව්වට වැස්සට තෙමි වේලි තියෙනව. දුවන්නේ නැති නිසා බැටරි නැ. fast forward අවුරුදු 2ක්. අවුරුදු 4ක් ම 3ර්ඩ් පාර්ටි ඉන්සුවරන්ස් දිව්වේ. ජොබ් එක මාරු කාලා. ගෙදර සල්ලි ප්‍රශ්න අවා. කාර් එක විකුන්න තීරණය කලා. මිනිස්සුත් ආව. දෙන්න හිතක් තිබ්බේ නැ මට. අපි ඉල්ලපු ගානට offer අවේ නැ. අත ඇරලා දැම්මා විකුනන එක. මම හදනවා කියල තීරණය කලා මගේ පඩියෙන් ම. අලුත් බැටෙරි එකක් දැම්ම 12000ක් දීල. ස්පාර්ක් ප්ලග් සුද්ද කලා. එන්ජින් ඔඉල් මාරු කලා අවුරුදු 5කට පස්සේ. ෆුල් සර්විස් කලා. කාර් එක හැමදාම දුවන්න ගත්ත. දැන් තමයි ලෙඩ ඔක්කොම එන්නේ කාර් එකේ. දවසක් කාර් එකේ අම්මත් එක්ක කීල්ස් එකට යද්දී බයික් කාරයෙක් හැප්පුවා ඉස්සරහ ෆෙන්ඩර් එක. මම බැහැල බලද්දී අරු ගියා. උව කාර් එකෙන් එළවන් ගිහින් මහපාර මැද නවත්තල පලු යන්න බැන්නා. අම්මත් බය වෙලා. ඌට ගහපු නැති එක විතරයි. 3ර්ඩ් පාටි නිසා අතින් කයිට් එකටත්. ඒක තාම හැදුවේ නැහැ. සන්රූෆ් එකෙන් එන ලීක් එක හදන්න ගිහින් එපා උනා. ඔක්කොම ගැලෙව්වා. ඒ ගමන්ම A/C එකත් හදන්න කිව්වා. මේ ගරාජ් එක තාත්තා දන්නා තැනක් හින්ද මම දැම්මා. ඔෆිස් ඇරිලා හැමදාම ගරාජ් එකට ගිහින් තමයි ගෙදර ගියේ. සෙනසුරාදා ඉරිදාත් මම ගරාජ් එකේ. සති 3ක් ගියා, මට මලපැන්න. මු windscreen එක උඩ මොකක් හරි වට්ටලා, එකේ ලොකු ඉරක් ගිහින්. හොදටම ඌට බැනලා කාර් එකේ ගලවපු ඔක්කොම බාගෙට හයි කරගෙන ඊටපස්සේ දවසේ ගෙදර ගේනවා. අඩෙන්න වගේ මට. මලත් පැනල හොදටම මට. සමරසිංහ ගෙන් windscreen එකක් 35000ක් දීල ගේනවා. අයෙමත් ඊටපස්සේ මාසේ A/C එකත් හැදුව 16000ක් දීල. සැලරි එකෙන් 2000ක් වගේ තමි හැම මාසෙම ඉතුරු උනේ කාර් එකටම වියදම් කරලා. ඔහොම යද්දී එන්ජින් නොක් එකක් අවා එක දවසක්, ගෑස්කට් සීල් කලාම ඒක හරි ගියා. බ්‍රේක් පෑඩ් බයින්ඩ් වෙලා ගෙවල ගියා, clutch plate එක ගෙවුනා. මේ ඔක්කොම එක පාර හැදුවා 20,000ක් දීල පොඩි ගරාජ් එකකට. ඔක්කොම හරියට හැදුව, බ්‍රේක් ඇරෙන්න. බ්‍රේක් අවුල නිසා ගෙදර අයෙමත් අව්වට වැස්සට තෙමි වේලි තියෙනව. මේක ඔෆිස් එක ගාව තිබ්බ ගරාජ් එකක්. බ්‍රේක් එකත් ලගදි තමයි හැදුවේ හරි ගරාජ් එකකට දාලා. ඒ ගමන්ම ටියුන් අප් එකක් දාගත්ත. එතනටත් 12000ක් වගේ ගියා. පස්සේ ෆුවල් ප්‍රේෂර් පම්ප් එකත් දැම්ම 6500ක් ගිහින්. ඊට පස්සේ වීල් හබ් දැම්ම පිටිපස්සේ. ඔක්කොම ebay පාර්ට්ස් ජෙනුඉන්. දැන් නං පෙට්‍රෝල් කරනවා 6-7ක් වගේ කොලොම්බු වල. ස්ස්පෙන්ෂන් දැම්ම 22000ක් ගිහින්. ලොස් කියන්නේ ලොසේ ලොස්. කාර් එක තවම පේන්ට් කලේ නැ 2010 ඉදන්. ඒත් මිකැනිකල් අවුල් ඔක්කොම හැදුවා. මීට මාසෙකට ඉස්සෙල්ල ස්ටාර්ට්ර් මෝටර් එක හැදුව 12500ක් ගිහින්. අද ස්පාර්ක් ප්ලග් 4ක් අලුතෙන් දැම්ම. කාර් එක නිතරම හාර්ඩ් එලවනවා මම. ගියර් මාරු කරන්නේ rpm 4000 වගේ. ට්‍රැක් ගිහිල්ලා rpm එක 7500න් ගියර් මාරු කලේ. දැන් නං කාර් එක එල කිරි වගේ දුවනවා හැමදාම. පොඩි පොඩි අවුල් 2-3ක් තියෙනවා, ඒවත් ඉස්සරහට හැදෙයි. දෑනට මම 200,000 වගේ කාර් එකට වියදම් කරලා තියෙනවා. එත් හැම ලෙඩක් එක්කම කාර් එක ගැන හොදටම දැනගත්ත මම. ගෙදරින් අහපු බැනුම්, කෙල්ලගෙන් අහපු බැනුම්, යාලුවොන්ගේ ** කතා අහගෙන මම කොහොමහරි මගේ පියට් බ්‍රාවෝ එක ගොඩ දැම්ම. දැන් මම හිගන්නෙක් වගේ මගේ බැංකු පොත බැලුවොත්, එත් මගේ බැංකුවේ ඉතුරුම් තමයි මගේ කාර් එක. කෙල්ලත් අහනවා මම කාර් එකට වැඩිපුර ආදරෙයි නේද එයාට වඩා කියල. ඕව ඉතින් උත්තර දෙන්න පුලුවන් ප්‍රශ්න නෙමෙයි. දැනුත් අව්වට වැස්සට තෙමි වේලි තියෙනව කාර් එක. ඒ ගෙදර ගරාජ් එකක් නැති නිසා. එත් නිතරම දුවනවා ඇන්ඩ් හෝදනවා කාර් එක. මිනිස්සු අහනවා ඇයි මේක විකුනලා වෙන එකක් ගන්නේ නැත්තේ කියල. යුරෝ කාර් වලින් එන කික් එක මට නං වෙන කිසිම කාර් එකකින් එන්නේ නැහැ. යුරෝ ඇන්ඩ් ජැපනිස් වල කොස්ට් එක එකයි හරියට බැලුවොත්. ඒත් ඕව ගැන ආගියුව් කරලා වැඩක් නැහැ. මේ කාර් එකෙන් ලංකාවට 2i තියෙන්නේ. හැමෝම පාවිච්චි කරන කොමන් වාහන මට පාවිච්ච්චි කරන්න හිතෙන්නේ නැහැ දැන් නන්. මේ කාර් එක කවදා හරි, කවදා හරි මම වික්කොත්, එදාට නං අඩයි පලු යන්නම.

i agree with your opinion iRage, yes the companies are doing better than before, anyways thats why i have stated as imo (in my opinion).

not to say anything here to make you feel depressed, but BMW, Jag and LR and many others are owned by Tata of India.. Speaking of quality of products that is coming out of india, its not so good.. (imo), hence the pricing drops and all.. also the aircon seems to be a pain in the a** of the x1 model when repairing/servicing (personal experience) BMW 1 Series, the BMW 3 Series, the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, the BMW 5 Series, the BMW 7 Series, the BMW X1, the BMW X3 and the BMW X5 are locally produced at BMW Plant Chennai.. it wont matter as long as you are getting the full 1Mbps.. emails and youtube wont take much speed ( currently youtube only loads 50% initial load), but yeah for skype as it relies on constant network connection

Hi cefiroA33, wishing you the same. In the noon time it can be sort of accepted because of the atmosphere heat. Does the engine heat gauge go above the halfway mark? Are you using coolant/water? Maybe check the thermostat? it could be blocked which results in the coolant/water flow being restricted...

in response to Sampath, recently one of my friends also got into a accident where a pizza hut delivery driver crashed face to face while turning. My friend called the insurance and then took the biker to the hospital as his ankle was broken. What the police said was stunning, told to wait until they come and dont move. but we did send the biker to the hospital as he was in agony and pain which resulted everything being our fault and what not.

is it true it only stays like 2 weeks, i mean the effect on rainx for the windscreen?

just an update on the issue, EFI issue is fixed now, took to noel. He cleaned the injectors and the fuel line and replaced fuel filter. Now the car is doing like 6.5 avg in colombo traffic. Went to gampaha and came back (90+km) and the car has done like 8-9km/l. Mind that i do drive the car hard at times if the roads are safe. Also replaced the fuel pressure pump as there was a issue with gradually flooring the pedal and the acceleration was low. BTW noel didnt plug in the scanner as he dont have the 3pin one, but all and all the fuel consumption issues are fixed

me no expert, but tappet noise or valvetrain can be the culprit, i had a similar issue in my ride and it was a tappet noise
