No point in buying a used 1L Baleno or a Swift for 9mn when the FronX which is essentially a souped up Baleno with better ground clearance + a better transmission (6AT) + more features and most importantly is brand new with a manufacturer's warranty is available for 10.2mn Or the Perodua Ativa which offers even more value than the FronX for its 10.8mn price tag

  3. And the feature list is quite impressive for the price too. Offers almost all the features present in the Raize Z except for the parking assistance system and 360 degree camera, these have been replaced with parking sensors on all four corners. Compared to the 10.85mn Ativa the base spec Raize offered by Toy#ta L#nka for 11.5mn is not worth the price at all.

Engine oil doesn’t go bad on its own too ne it’s the combustion byproducts + fuel dilution + moisture and other contaminants that cause engine oil to "go bad" when used in an engine I reckon the same would happen to honey as well ...And no, you shouldn't substitute bee honey with Kithul honey. It's a Mitsubishi engine, it deserves premium stuff

Mitsubishi Ralliart has been on a quest for a follow-up to its victory at the Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR) which it did on its first outing in the series in 2022, and the team has now done so at the latest running of the series over the weekend with the rally-prepared Triton pick-up truck. The winning Mitsubishi Ralliart driver, Chayapon Yotha and co-driver Peerapong Sombutwong arrived at the finish line with a time of 16 hours 15 minutes 12 seconds, bringing a lead of more than eight minutes over the second-placed team, Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand with the Hilux Revo GR Sport Wide Tread. Second place for AXCR 2025 went to Mana Pornsiricherd and co-driver Kittisak Klinchan of Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand, while the top three was rounded up by Bailey Cole and co-driver Sinoppong Trairat in the Ford Ranger Raptor fielded by Feeliq Innovation Motorsport. The victory for the Mitsubishi squad was also complemented by the second Triton entry, with driver Katsuhiko Taguchi and co-driver Takahiro Yasui, finishing in fifth, while a third Triton entry driven by Kazuto Koide with co-driver Eiji Chiba finished the rally in 22nd place overall, enabling the Mitsubishi Ralliart team to also emerge as winners in the team category. The 30th edition of the AXCR was originally to be run from Pattaya, Thailand to Phnom Penh, Cambodia through eight SS (special stages), however special stages SS4 and SS6 were cancelled due to security concerns around the borders of Thailand and Cambodia. “Winning was our top priority this year, and I am thrilled we achieved it while showcasing the strength and audacity of Mitsubishi Motors-ness. Not just any Swift, but an 8 year old Swift! 8 years of baking under the Sri Lankan sun from above while cooking on hot asphalt below, running on subpar fuel, patched up with mountains of cataloy, serviced with counterfeit spare parts and fluids by Makabasses who have no clue what a torque wrench is, wiring butchered by electricians who've never heard of heat shrink so they can install a laggy 2GB RAM / 8GB ROM Chinese android headunit, 8 years of the underbody getting pounded harder than a wh- For 9.4mil versus a brand spanking new car made in 2025 with similar power and torque specs, more features and an engine and transmission combo + ground clearance better suited for Sri Lankan conditions For 10.2mil. I have no words to describe this insanity.

  16. If you're planning to buy one make sure it's priced significantly lower than a brand new FronX. The 1L Swift is essentially a FronX with a less reliable CVT and lower ground clearance. I've seen 1L Swifts advertised for 9mil and thereabouts when the FronX is 10.2mil, utter nonsense

In other words the main reason to avoid wet belt system isn’t necessarily premature belt failure but rather the inherent design flaw of timing belt(s) gradually choking the lubrication system over time... you could have a brand new timing belt and still end up with your lubrication system clogged up with remnants of previous timing belts.
  18. Belt dust and debris is not an unusual occurrence with rubber belts, it's rubber after all. Even metal transmissions and engines shed some "glitter" over their lifetime, mostly in the break in period Issue with the wet belt is it dumps that fine dust/debris straight into the lubrication system, clogging strainers and starving the engine and the turbo of oil over time (which is not a concern with dry belts, clean off the timing cover of any rubber debris when replacing the belt and you're all set) So even if you replace your timing belt in a timely manner and it looks pristine when you take it off it could've dumped some fine rubber particles to the lubrication system and you'd never know, the next belt won't get a chance to shed as much particles as the first before the strainers get clogged and engine/turbo starts losing oil pressure

  21. Looking for spelling mistakes on the container used to be a surefire way to identify counterfeit lubricants and spare parts but apparently not anymore. Apparently manufacturers misspell their own stuff. After seeing the picture on Facebook I assumed it was a fake and searched the web for trusted suppliers to find a genuine product with the correct spelling https://www.ebay.com/itm/373407212933 "Partsouq" is a spare parts supplier with a stellar reputation located in Dubai so it's highly unlikely they're selling counterfeit products - what's more, I couldn't find one picture with the correct spelling on the web. Sigh
