  1. That means the auto start-stop system is off. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Start-stop_system

  5. Lexus Soarer advertised for a frigging 42 million LKR 🤣 Saw it on a facebook group, people were like "wtf did I just read"
  6. @K.o.N.o.S Where are thou?
  7. Because both cost about the same, Liqui Moly Molygen 5W30 costs about 14K from Daraz (sold by the authorized agent) with credit card discounts and daraz discounts, Valvoline conventional costs about 13K from UNIMO
  8. Wanted to switch to Liqui Moly synthetic 5W30 this time onwards but UNIMO refused to use oil sourced from a third party Will make the switch from June (or when I hit 5K kms). For now she's still on Valvoline Conventional 10W30

  13. A 2012+ Viva Elite would tick most of your boxes I'd go for a 2015ish Geely Emgrand if I were you, though it won't be nearly as easy to sell off compared to a Viva Elite. People tend to run away screaming when it's a Chinese-made car with a 1800CC engine 😂
  14. Did you try checking/replacing the PCV valve?
  15. Post an update if it works E44C6E1E

    Insurance premium

Nah they must have changed the sum insured figure of your car.
  17. It's a relative thing; for instance, a car that never sees an engine oil change or even a top-up would usually be less reliable than a car of the same make and model that receives regular oil changes at correct intervals
  18. Well if it's worth it that's all that matters, the most reliable car in the world wouldn't be worth it if it doesn't make you "grin ear to ear" after all 😇
  19. Aight Imma say it: the amount of repairs and the cost you end up having to eat sound quite excessive for a 6-year-old Japanese car in all honesty... is she worth all this trouble and cost? There is also the issue of a potential timing belt failure
