hi velocity thanks for all the info machan.after cosidering all the replies and comments about the Axela we've decided to buy one.machan we have never used a mazda before and only have a very limited knowledge about them. machan can you pls tell me the engines that are available with the model? Is there a 1.6 version?which one comes with VVTi? Is the 1.6L version a lot more expensive than the 1.5L vesion? Is manual very rare? are there any complaints about the auto/tiptronic box? have you got the 1.6L version? is the interior leather? and machan finally can you recommend a good joint where we can buy the car from?bc machan these days its vary hard to find a good car sale? thanks and sorry for asking this many questions machan.

thanks velocity even i think that the mazda would be the best option for him..machanwhat are the options that you have in your car?some say that the car comes withh leather seats but we checked some axelas but all of them had normal seats.what are the additional options we should look for when buyng the car?does it come with different trim levels? thanks.

eehh...well he is just searching for a ride with a bit of style for his day to day running so he is only considering mazda,toyota,etc..bad luck that he doesnt like hondas that much bc can get a 2004/2005 unreg civic easily below 3.5mill....

I read a thread on this and according to that the one of the models is coming from thailand..can some one please tell me the model that is coming from thailand bc my friend wants to buy one made in japan. read about a suspension issue on the Axela the JDM version due to our road conditions.which one is most suited for SL? one more thing guys,what would be the price of a unreg allion 1.5L version? thanks in advance.

good idea bro...as dilesh also mentioned machan those are signs that the previous owner hasnt really taken care of this car.so its highly likely that this car would give you more trouble in years to come..and you dont need a car to be a big head ache, do you?as velocity pionted out going for a unreg car would be a very vice idea provided that you could raise some additional finance.

bro HID head lights are very expensive ones a famous car modifying garage quoted me nearly 35K for this and that was nearly 2 years back...i dont think that spending 35K on head lights would be a very good idea..you may spend that money on something which is more useful. my advice for you is to use more powerful bulbs like PIAA.that would do the needful at a lower cost.

Well actually tappet noise comes due to valves being too close to the lobes that activate the valves. tappet adjustments are done to set the correct clearances between the valve and the lobes that activate each valve...it shouldnt either be too close or too far away from the lobes. so if the gaps too tight when the engine reaches its working temp the gaps would reduce even further due to expansion it would cause the tappet noice to come..

hmmm ...if the tappet noice is not there when the engine is at it's working temp and when you rev the engine then i dont think that this is something very serious.one of my friends has got a 92 civic and according to him even he experiences the problem in cold starts but since your car is much more newer than that i think this is some thing you may want to look into..anyhow lets leave this open for an expert to answer....

what happens after that machan? dont you get the tappet nioce after that,i mean when you rev the car up manually by hitting the gas pedal.when the car reaches its working temp slowly increase the revs and check whether you can hear the tappet noice. if the tappet noice builds up with the revs then i think its time for you to get the tappets adjusted. you may not be able to notice this when you are drving so the best thing would be park the car and carry out the test while the bonnet is open so thet you'll be able to identify the noice more clearly. if the tappets needs to be adjusted take it to a good mechanic and he would do the job for you. it wont even cost much..

does the car idle at very low rmp when you start it in the morning?

i think what is important when it comes to diesel is the Sulphur Content .the super diesel has a significantly lower Sulphur Content compaired to the normal diesel. Any idea about the price difference between the two?

better you use 95 from now on then...me ofcourse never trust the agents that much... ..but the sad this is that D*MO with such a lot of experience missing a very important fact like that..
