Here's the Current status of the Mazda Luce 1500 some of the parts has to re welded with sheet metal.

Nope!.. it's 1794CC if i remember correct. so it's below semi luxury Tax range which is 1800CC maybe some Si owners can shed some light.. even my car (Corolla Luxel) has the same displacement but didn't happened to pay the tax for it. i guess it'll be the same story for the Carina Si.

Guys, finally i found something after hours of googling. thought of sharing it with all of the Forum members, "4DR6 turbo direct injection engine is derived from 4DR5 2.7 Liter naturally aspirated engine. The head is modified to whirlpool type combustion chamber for direct injection system (Compression ratio 17.5) to produce maximum power, torque and fuel efficiency of 15.5km/liter or 36.6 miles / US gallon. Thanks machan, AFAIK 4DR5 is 2700CC. so 4DR6 should be the same. if it's the same as 4DR5 block with Turbo.

Anyone knows the difference between the Mitsubishi 4DR5 and the 4DR6 engines. both are 2.7l engine right? can anyone shed some light please? thanks in advance!

since it's a big car. i would choose 1.8 Si in all the way. (best power to weight ratio)

will do.. right now it's a total mess. previous owner painted in black. Original color was beige metallic. interior (Including seats) was eaten up by rats. but mechanical parts were OK. we fire it up her in the morning. engine was in perfect condition. no leakage from seals. one of the chrome headlamp frame was missing. but all the other parts including the emblems were there..

This one is a Mark 1 4 door sedan machan.

Guess the A/C fan (think you mean the Condenser fan here) works when the A/C compressor start to work. both A/C compressor and Condenser fan should turn itself off when the thermostat in Evaporator coil reach its temperature. (Something similar to House Air conditioners)

Primera Camino that's an awesome Vehicle. if i remember correct Milindu got one in his fleet. 2.0 liter it is. are all Caminos got 2.0 liter engines?

Depends machan, i have got down couple of emblems for my Toyota from US sellers and they look authentic. try look for power sellers and got a good reputation (Feedback) on eBay.

I guess that explains why Diesel vehicles got higher Amp equipped batteries than their Petrol counterparts..

Hmm.. sounds more like a warn out Caliper pins to me.. better check with a reputed Mechanic..
