Once I got a chance to buy one. about 2 years back for 8.5lks. Well spares are scares according to the owner itself. And mind you this engine model with this car is the most underpowered car with this sort of 1.8CC VTEC DOHC V6 24V.Normally i we take the same spec car like Lotus the elise with 1.8CC develops more than 200Bhp as i heard. e THE REAL STORY BEHIND SRI LANKAN STREET RACING I have a couple of my friends who own STI's and one who owns a brand new RX8 (red). Well to start off with there Is nothing called actual drag racing in Sri lanka. Even this bit came after all of Sri Lanka watched the Fast and the Furious from UNIVERSAL some time back. Since then some enthusiasts who owned less expensive performance cars like GT,vtec,civic even primera started copying the trek..I have even seen some baby jokers imitating the same things I saw on those movies.. :angry-smiley-048Eg:-Once I was going past greenpath, i saw some normal eg8 vtecs together they imitated the same bull shit on that movie. All cars parked at a stretch together and all drivers standing beside them like as in an army parade. Suddenly a very slow moving POLICE mitsubishi Galant came slowly towards then wondering what this crap is??? To my amusement all of those so called "STREETRACERS BUDIES"ran..like as if they were chased by a rodeo bull..,to their respective cars..But the POLICE car went past then still very very slowy wondering whot the crap happend. FRankly they didnt wanna know why those cars were their, neither they wanted to know who was their. Cops were just wandering why these guys were wasting their time out showing normal civic with multi colored bodykits.(the whole incident waslike a circus and full of colors)good to show to kindergarden kids on a weekend. All those drivers were some jokers and wannabes just like in the movies. But not to forget and underestimate that there are some guys around with some superb cars who are Genius players of the wheel and also own Evo's and Subaru's but haven't race a single time, neither they wanna show off, since they know what they are capable of.. Hope you got the real picture now.

Disaster has struck again! This time 2 down. earlier they planted MERcedes in India..this time BMW.. No wonder why half of the Sri Lankan TV channels are turning Hindi and Tamil. But sofar good news for owners since they could have parts shipped fast.

You can go to Anil's joint in Hill Street Dehiwala. He will get the thing done for sure..but one thing.. make sure you dont take yo eyes off the bike till hes done..otherwise u will have to bring it back with parts missing (no choice since good superbike people are lacking in sri lanka). Nilantha, Gunat & miniace... thanks to your competitive ideas I am gain faced with a riddle to buy used toyota vs new non toyota. Even one of my friends who has a non-turbo ep91 said he bought some green color non toyota pad from dehiwala and said its making queaeek sound eversince he put them on and asked my never to buy that green color stuff...anyways..dunno whot that is.. I will first check with MM and everybody else and see what prices are like. Gunat I agree with you. To tell you last time I replaced shocks I checked with them..there they are a bit expensive...as usual its the case with any agent. Do you know of a place where I can buy the same stock front and rear break pads??

Hi..thank for asking..well to start with. When the eingine heats up whenrunning without ac sometimes the idle drops to 500 and quickly goes up to 900 again. I hear black spots and reving. simply something like a miss. but when i switch on ac doesnt feel a thing>>> Forgot to mention this happens when I am on nutral say for example when stopped at color lights and the gear is in nutral the engine idle goes down to 500 and quickly to 900 again during that time its just like a miss.....

I here that a lot of engine idle problem are result in very common cause which is dirty throttle body? Is this True what else can effect engine idle since i am also having an idle problem..just thought whether I could do this at home.? or Should I take ca to a professional. I here tuners charge thumping ampunts for this? Please advice me...
