Is it OK to switching to new engine oil?

Unless you overhauled your engine, Going back on the viscosity grade is not smart if your not having a brand new car,..the fact that the engine is consuming oil is a sign that it's ready for SAE40 Using oil ment for a newer engine isn't gonna make your oldie new again,.. the thicker oil would also be useful in our tropical climate in maintaining oil pressure. So change to the oil Viscosity used previously and enjoy care free motoring.. -

Well truth betold, We shouldn't give a rats on what the owner does as long as he spends the time and money to properly look after his car. Smart guy, the owner is, Once he's done sucking the life out of a car,he sells it with a lame excuse. TT.

2. This means a replacement used automatic gearbox. Having said that, Start with a good service of the existing unit, Toyota mak'em tough.l Besides, We don't go replacing gear boxes just because we don't have anything better to do on a Sunday afternoon. ATF stands for Automatic Transmission Fluid . for your car it's a red colored fluid looking like cough syrup AKA the life blood of the gear box. Recommend a place specializing on Auto boxes for a good service.-*Ref previous posts Remember, Maintenance is cheaper than Repair/replacement. Ah, Do you have any idea of it's maintenance history? as the 2C engine is having a timing belt and must be replaced every 100 000km with genuine stuff. And if the car was maintained at Daragarage, you can be guaranteed that it's a cheap knock off and will last less than thee recommended mileage Cheers..

Congrats bro,.on your up coming upgrade. Having said that, your getting a car nearly 20 years old. And will have the probs of a car having been driven half way to the moon. you'll prob need 1. Full engine o/.h .2.reco trans + system flush. ( prob never saw an ATF change.) 3. New suspension. 4. New brakes ( since it's auto) Good luck! Note: These recommendations were made taking into account local driving conditions, Fuel-quality and sulpher content,and typical engine oil I wouldn't use to lubricate my wheelbarrow.

If you're replacing the parcell shelf, why not upgrade to 6x9? way cooler and handles more power - what's your head unit? The power of a good subwoofer ! no offence, but try getting this with 'em 6 inchers!

There's a small size difference with the 6.5 in model Make sure the bottom rim is fully flush and makes an air tight seal with the mounting surface.

You're comparing apples to oranges bro.Depends on where you maintain the car. The local agent for Pug, - there ok ,nothing exceptional. Toyota - they are right up there as the best car company in the world. Yes there are copies, and copies of copies of Toyota parts. But not for Pug in SL.
