  1. This is the car with the electronic tree on the dashboard isn't it? My bad that's the leaf.
  2. I like how this version looks so much better on my Android phone.
  3. Opel Omega
  4. Ripper, no idea on that. LEDs, especially flux LEDs, if they do consume that much power (135W) they will generate as much heat as a halogen bulb. I have two white flux LEDs on one my R/Cs and they light up the night like miniature Xenon HIDs, and become pretty hot, and they're rated at just 1W each. Most probably the seller is stating the Halogen equivalent in terms out light output.
  5. Panamera wannabe.
  6. Your car can probably detect burnt out bulbs, and it's confused with the lower power consumption of the LED bulbs. I've heard of other people having the same issue ("bulb out" indicator lighting up etc). I think wiring up a load resistor in series might help; I use 4 of them to slow down the blinking speed of my LED indicator replacements, so a bigger load might help you out as well.
  7. Non AFAIK sells Nitro in SL. A few of the guys I roll with get down Nitro through various personal contacts they have. Your best bet is to get a hold of someone who's shipping a large crate or container to the country and get it sent through them, since Nitro isn't allowed on aircraft and will be confiscated. This (and much lower maintenance) is why I bought brushless electrics instead.
  8. I'm play Mafia 2 on the XboX 360 these days. I get all of my games through ebay.
  9. Supra is correct. I've seen the maroon example on the roads, an early 19- cabrio if memory serves me correct.
  10. Machan, the Airwaves at the agent on Baseline look nothing like the example above. The example looks like an inflated Fit/Jazz with an extended posterior.
  11. Are you sure its not a Fit/Jazz? Note the door and wheel arch cladding. And even the wheel itself
  12. looks like a body kitted MR-S
  13. Chevy Aveo P.S. Just saw the Daewoo Kalos in the AL Classified, which is basically the Aveo in another guise (or vice versa).
  14. Austin Montego.
  15. Wow, all this time I was thinking it was a generic British car form the 60's. I'm pretty sure these are here in SL, I remember a school chum of mine drove to school in one. He also had one of the first 4WD Subaru wagons.
  16. I came across a blue one like you described a few days back in Rajagiriya. It had HID fog lamps which annoyed the f*ck out of me. They were badly aligned and left me partially blind when I glanced into my side mirror. I swear I wanted to back up into a few times just to get the annoying glare out of my eyes.
  17. I know But I love the looks of the car and wanted to share my enthusiasm :P
  18. Upali Mazda!!!
  19. It's sold as the SSangyong Stavic here. Saw an example parked in our smoker's corner a few weeks back. It's quite large up close, and very ugly. Chatted up the driver and sat in the front and rear, or centre row, since the cargo area had a 3rd row of seats; captains chairs (2 per row) all around, and most if not all amenities of a full sized MPV. It had the Merc "derived" 2.7 turbo diesel.
  20. Woops, work had me by the danglies this week. Its a Fiat Topolino.
  21. An easy one.
  22. Does the light blink continually, or extinguish after a while? It could be indicative of a cold start, which means you're restricted to an rpm limit till the engine has fully warmed. Or it might also indicate a dead glow plug.
  23. A friend of mine is currently restoring a KE20. The engine he has planned for it costs more than the car.
  24. How about a used Wagon R? They're high vehicles and have pretty good head room.
  25. Just to clarify a common misconception, the Noah variations are SR40/50 for petrol engines and CR40/50 for diesel engines. The diesels also came with a 3C-TE engine, and they're identifiable by the hood scoop on the front for the (small) intercooler.
