I too have a 2kd-ftv hilux. I'm thinking of buying these. You may be interested in them too. Relatively cheap piggyback type tuning box which boosts hp by increasing common rail pressure. I have read many positive reviews of this. http://www.racechip.de/racechip-chiptuning/Toyota-Hilux-VI-2-5-D-4D-4257-r.html 0-100 km/h 1KD-FTV with a Racechip Pro http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZfQ-CCtGbs OBD-II Smart Gauge for Toyota Hilux Vigo. When I got my first car(locally used one) from a car sale I didn't know much about vehicles. After I bought it I noticed high fuel consumption and low pulling power. Then I had to replace the MAF sensor but "check engine" light never came on. I bought a OBD scanner and found it had stored engine trouble codes. I removed the instrument cluster and noticed that they hade cut the correct path to the check engine light on the flex type printed circuit board and rewired it to "check engine oil" light so that the "check engine" light never comes on even when there are engine trouble codes but it lights up and goes off when starting the car as it should. Then only I got to know that O2 sensor also had been faulty at the time I bought the car.

I've been using a Karcher model K 2.14 for about 6 months. But to be practical with it I had to buy these items seperately. Vario-Power lance - the supplied dirt blaster lance is too powerful to use on paint. Universal hose connector with Aqua Stop - it was impossible to connect the garden hose to the washer without this. 6 meter high pressure extension hose (you can connect this to the supplied hose )- the supplied hose is too short to use with my cab. This is very useful as you don't have to move the washer around the vehicle. Vario-Power lance for K2 model and 6 meter high pressure extension hose were not available in Tudawe at that time so I bought them from a UK site - espares.co.uk car tyre pressure pump - I've been using a cheap chinese pressure pump bought from a hardware store for few years without problems. It can be used on all 4 tyres continuesly.

Now highlevel road has been widened to 4 lanes from Pannipitiya to Makumbura(about 3 kms) entry point. Some construction work is still going on high level road. AFAIK Highlevel road will be widened from Kirulapona to Godagama in near future. As southern express way will be connected to outer circular highway all the flyovers, bridges, roads and etc in Makumbura are not completed yet. But construction work is progressing fast. I think entry roads to southern highway are temporary roads and they will be changed once the whole area is completed.

I think what he's looking for is a simple device to get an idea of power usage of home appliances and electronics and it's better to use a device like "kill a watt" without poking around with live current with multimeters or amp meters. BTW I found out DialogTV decoder's power usage in "stand by" mode is as high as 12 watts while in operation it's 15 watts.

Not sure whether it's available in local stores. I bought this type of one off ebay and it works well. http://cgi.ebay.com/Energy-Evaluation-Monitor-Power-Saving-Meter-AC-Outlet-/310325969838?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4840de83ae
