I know that it "sampled" from the GT technology, but i don't wanna go as far to say that it has a tamed down GT engine... but a defnite hotttt car yummmy again

Yeah i noticed its an americanized monaro . When they were introducing it as concept some years back there was a lot of promise. But then it came out looking like a grandam as some1 put it lol. But its still a fun car to drive man. I guess i'm a lil biased becoz this was my very first 400hp+ car that i drove (for a weekend for house sitting for a friend ) - yummy. As per American manufacturers reviving old cars, i guess you guys haven't seen the new Shelby GT500 or the Shelby GT??? They did a really good job with that car guys, too bad they were asking for 20k over msrp coz each dealer only received 2-3. And the new Mustang GT's altogether are pretty decent cars for 25K. Then add around 10-15k ontop of that and you'll be able to get some pretty unique $hit from Saleen/Roush etc.

hey u shouldn't diss the GTO . It's the most amount of raw power you can get for the money i think . Only thing is it doesnt look that nice Right now coz they went out of production, the old 06 stock can be bought for under 30k here. it's a lot of fun to realy floor one of these (especially after u take off the electronic stability control) - gives u a raw rush of power. I think if you put a good supercharger onto the gto you'll be getting way over 550-600 horses.

I just saw the best thing ever!!! American muscle vs european engineering. A young chick (kinda cute too lol) in a pontiac GTO vs some old grey haired dude in a BMW M6 coupe raced off from the traffic lights outside my workplace. I think it was purely random, the gto pulled up, and was revving its engine and the M6 pulled up next to it, and they just took off. My co-worker almost dropped his starbucks all over me as he jumped up (idiot). I think the M6 had the upper hand but difficult to tell from our angle, they were both out of our sight pretty fast as the road curves - damn it! Both cars are awesome, I've driven my friends GTO and i know it goes, but maaan that M6 really flew too WOW! Classic American Muscle Vs European technology. I think the GTO had 400hp and the M6 might have 500+. The GTO incase you're wondering the M6 - YUMMY! wish i knew who won though . I don't think they would've kept that up in the middle of the day though, this city is infested with trigger happy cops! i think anything over 20mph the speed limit can be charged as a criminal offense here. btw its a 100k car vs a 30k car. so i guess it would suck if the M6 didnt come on top lol

oh no thats not what i meant, i was excited when i heard that you'll be able to get one for around 3 million as one of those costs 2mil here roughly, so i thought 1 mil more isnt that bad at all. BTW, when you said its TEN million, isn't that the price of a new 3 series / C class etc? Why would you have to pay so much for a 3-5 year old car? Did the person you're referring to bring down a brand new one or a 2002/2003 model? They've been making the coupe version for a while i believe.

I'm just curious, do you suppose a change in government might see a tax break on imports / "luxury goods" etc? I know that our currency is kinda over valued thus this might be a good way to reduce the trade deficit on the short run - i'm no economist but isnt that just a temporary solution? Another reason for increasing taxes on imports is to protect local industries but we dont have a local motor vehicle industry right? Does anybody here have "inside" info on how the "other side" might handle the economy etc?

finally put everything together in my new conroe build and thought i'll post some pics with benchmarks etc. Here are the specs: core 2 duo E6400 @ 2.13Ghz running @ 3.2 Ghz Gigabyte DS3 965P mobo FSB overclocked from 266Mhz to 400Mhz 2GB G.Skill DDR2 800 PC6400 256MB 7800 GTX WD Cavear SE 200GB HDD Everything is using stock cooling that came with the processor and mobo. With some elaborate cooling such as thermaltake/coolermaster or even water cooling, the system should be stable at a good 3.6 Ghz or more. ran this Benchmark and stress tester to ensure that the system was stable and performing to spec, this is what i got: You can download super pi @ the following url: http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=36 what's funny is, the world's faster P4 OC'd to 7.1 Ghz using liquid nitrogen (some crazy Jap) calculated PI to 1M decimals in 18.56 seconds. Where this Core 2 Duo OC'd to 3.2 Ghz calculates it in 19s lol. Maaan these conroes are fast. Bottom line is, a 3.2Ghz core 2 duo processor is the equivalent of a 7Ghz P4 lol!!!! i just found this on the web after i heard a bunch of guys b$tching about "yet another" DirectX iteration. As far as i can tell, if DX10 can deliver on the goods, it looks like the single most jump in visual quality and API simplicity that MicroSux has delivered in a while. I found the following comparisions and projected advantages for DX10. DirectX 9 DirectX 10 not too shabby i would say... but what kinda hardware are we gonna need? Probably aint even out yet. The only DirectX10 cards out are over 500$ and i highly doubt these prileminary cards have enough horsepower to run the coolest (and often the most taxing) things the API can throw out. Oh well, exciting times....

hey guys, have you'll heard of a game called Crysis that has an ETA for 2nd quarter of 07? It's from the same development team/studio that did FarCry and promises the same open gameplay experience. But best of all, one of the first games to make use of directX 10 capabilities. The only problem is, only 2 cards currently support DX10 - 8800 GTS and 8800 GTX priced @ 500$ and $650 respectively I saw a pre-recorded gameplay video @ a local gaming conference, mind blowing. certain highly threaded applications get upto a 80% increase in performence. but most current mainstream applications are not heavily threaded or have been optimized for dual core etc, hence, quad core doesnt really bring u as much performence etc. but in the case of heavy multitasking, it really helps. but most importantly, PC games currently WILL NOT see any increase in performence sad

we bought it brand new from ######## in 2003. My dad took it to D*MO recently to see how much he can get as a trade in or something i guess (i'm not completely clear) but he was offered 5.5 i think. I'm gonna take a look @ that once i get back. BTW: why does the system censor names of companies, is there some form of trademark issues related to mentioning them?
