Generally rebuilding an engine involves a little more. Pistons, rings, block work, bearing etc...

Better than average chance that your head gasket is blown. The main cause is either it was installed wrong or the head bolts were not tightened properly.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys. Thought of not riding a bike, especially since I've been on them since I was about 9, is going to be tough. Helrazor and Ripper probably can attest to how much fun it is. Nothing like flicking a bike back and forth. I think it's a mute point on my part since the boss already made plans to sell my bike. Women... go figure.

A good game of GT5 would be great but don't think I can manage the steering wheel right now. I have pain in places that I didn't know I had I think the bike may be done for I know the crank case is broken since lot of oil was leaking from it. I need to go do a closer inspection to see what all is involved.

If you're talking about the guy with white leathers who put his arm up, that is to notify people behind him that he's pulling over and also to notify any on-coming traffic that something is up and to be cautious. You want to get to a straighter section of the road before turning around so if anyone that's coming around have enough time to see you. This little stretch is bad juju for me. Last two times I was there and ended up crashing both times.

Doctors orders Just finished with the bike from my last crash and managed to get myself back to square one. Looks like some idiot spilled oil all over the road and I hit the patch. All I know was that I was leaned into the right hand corner and then hitting the ground then the bike hit me and broke my right shoulder, almost all the ribs on the right side. Both the bike and the rider need fixing Thank god for pain medication

Not my idea. I'm not that smart Old Supra trick to keep the valves from being burnt. Some electrical guy figured it out and written an article on it.

An easy way to keep the check engine caution light from appearing is to install a 10K ohm 1/2 watt resistor into the unpluged connector. That will 'fool' the computer into thinking that the EGR is pluged in and functioning. JC, glad things worked out for you.

Some of these news organizations need to take care how some of these articles are written. Since Monday I have read over 100 different articles on the conclusion of the war, how it came about and what is in the future for SL. Many articles still continue to refer to the populous as Tamils and Sri Lankans. What this type of wording referencing or implying is that Tamils = LTTE and Sri Lankas = Sinhalese. These small subtle words can have a big psychological impacts. I hope these people will start realizing how what they write and say come across and take care to be more sensitive to point out that Sri Lankans = every native Sri Lankan regardless of ethnicity and LTTE is just that and not imply Tamils as the LTTE. As the SL government re-populate the Tamils, there aught to be lot of thought given to how to go about doing it. If we resettle the Tamils to the North, like in the past, it will most definitely segregate the two group once again. IMO, the Tamils should be re-populated throughout the entire country. Conversely, more Sinhalese should populate North and North East so there is no segregation. I think first and foremost we need to learn to live with each other and respect each of our cultures. It'll be counter productive to let all the Tamils go back to where they were and pretend that all is well. This is much easily said than done but I think it is a worthwhile effort and a good thing for the country. Hope I'm not speaking out of my back side on this issue.
