    As I know the tax is in effect for all the vehicles in port which are not cleared and arrived even before 1 April.

    Yesterday drove from Katunayaka to Colombo in non-trafic road with aggresive accelaration and it gave me 22Km/L and I am quite impressive with the performance and the fuel economy. The car is great to handle and joy to ride, easy to overtake any vehicle.

    Important: when you are driving in a water more than 6 inches, make sure you put the car to lower gear and increase the rpm, this will generate power to penetrate through water and also this avoids sucking water.

    Universal tyres in front of Qquinas Borella has good collection of brands. Also the the in Kirullopona (Can't remember the name) it was in Yello pages, gave the cheapest prices among all tyre dealers. Jethawana road has lot of of shops also with original japaneese tyres.

    Check the prices from GS Auto Rajagiriya or Pachikawatta. Their prices are very reasonable.

    Hi, Be careful if you are changing your new car lights to HID, I have a experience with Autopal, they have used Autobest HID Zenon lights, the headlight adjustment was not working, can't drive at night as bulbs are not aligned well. I had to take those again to them, the problem was that the quality of the things are not as original japaneese HID zenon. Don't go to autopal, they will ruin your wiring system as well. If your car is more than 10 years old try experimenting, otherwise don't change original lights.

    AK12 is very reliable car, I know a lady who used it 10 years without any major repairs.

    Don't go for Nissan FB15 if you are thinking about fuel. AK12 does 8Km/L in Colombo and 11Km/L outstation with AC Regarding swift, I might be wrong. My brother had a one after he bought a one he drove only 5000Kms and the shocks gone bad and had to replace. Car had only 40000Kms might be not a genuine mileage.

    Don't use any of these additives, once I used 3M Diesel fuel injector cleaner and it gave me Check engine light till I fill the tank second time.

    AK12 very reliable but bad on fuel, Swift has regular repairs especially shock changes.

    First inform to Insurance. They will tell what to do. if it's a small claim don't bother.

    I did my CR42 AC system full service at Derana AC, Ambagaha Jn, Buthgamuwa Road, Rajagiriya, they took me Rs.10,000 as they said they replaced some parts. Now my AC is very powerful and no complains, even people at back complaining that it's too much cold.

    Can you tell me recommended engine oil for Insight. (is it mobil 0-20w?) when should the ATF oil change Is VIC air filter enough ?

    There are lot in Athul Kotte road (168 bus route) for AC repairs. get quotation before you start the repair. Pala auto is the best. but the prices are double than other places.

    How do you calculate Km/L? Is it the Kms driven when refilling the tank full again?

    Km/L figures can't be changed drastically whatever you do, change filter, oil, sensors etc etc. I have tried all the options with my FB15. Even the A*W is telling that is normal fuel efficiency for these cars..

    Hi, This is the normal mileage of these cars. I had sunny FB15 auto gear 1490cc and it did only 7Km/L in Colombo. Once we went Matara and it did 10Km/L.

    Does anybody has idea about Honda Insight fuel consumption in Colombo traffic? I only managed 13Km/L. The car is newly bought and no service is done yet. I drove from Fort to Rajagiriya on traffic roads.
