Toyota confirmed its estimate that it would lose about $2bn (£1.23bn) in costs and lost sales from its worldwide recall of potentially faulty vehicles. It added it had not yet worked out the cost of the latest reports of brake problems with the new Prius - BBC.

If the MTA6 is filed to match the CR then you "shouldn't" have any issues. As the CR is printed off system should match the records right?

Hi a friedn bought a tribute and couldn't sell it for months. Not sure whether it was sold I could check. The CRV is the best bet IMO.

Two sides to the story. Lower taxes mean; better cars on roads therefore safer to passengers and environment. Also better fuel economy ends up as a saving.(except for tax on fuel) But it also means more vehicle on the roads; and as I don't think we have an exit plan for the older vehicles this means more congestion and more pollution etc. Also bear in mind infrastructure is not really up to par. Higher taxes can also be seen as a deterrent to everybody buying a car. Also average person is going to need credit to finance a new car so more debt. It's Catch 22 really and hence not worth wasting time on

Hi guys. There's a weird noise akin to a spring being would up (tic tic tic) when I drive. It starts as soon as the wheels start turning and speeds up in time to the speed of the wheels. Took it to the local garage and he said it was the brakes! So changed it and then the noise stopped. But its back after about a week. Please help.

My ABS light turns on at ignition and only turns off after the engine is started. Tech at A*W said it was cooked! Apparently the ABS indicator should turn off within 1 sec of turning the car on.
