Got my my HP DV4 about year ago for 75K from Australia. its 2nd Gen i5, 4GB Ram, 600HDD, 1GB ATI Radean & Intel generic graphic inter changable, with Win 7. Got down Asus X series two weeks back. Just 69K. 3rd Gen i3, 4GB ram, 500HDD, Came with Win 8. I have taken risk of "no local warrenty". I use DV4 for online gaming, no heating issues, bettery still lasts more than 6hrs with intel graphics.

This sounds like a fuel starvation problem to me as well. As stated above check MAF sensor. If you haven't changed the fuel filter recently (say with in 12 months) change it and see. Edit : Based on the info given by you the scenario is 65 - 80Kmph and rpm 1500 - 1600 and travelling for longer period of time. This is the condition that most engines use least amout of fuel. A clogged fuel filter will not respond immediately for sudden acceleration in this condition, thus result in fuel starvation. However check all above and if you are to change something start it with the fuel filter (provided you din't change it recently)

Yes I think there was specific law passed about old cars. Because most classic and vintage cars has historic value behind it, now its prohibitted to export them.

When my father sold his old cars and got his last one EE90 Wagon about 20yrs back I remember he listed everything he handover to buyer and what he accepted from seller. List goes like.. I here by confirm following items handedover in good condition .. 1 - spare wheel.. 2 - wheel brace, etc... And it says about registration book and revenue license as well. So in future better to include the emission certificate and keep a copy. So it'll have mileage at last test. So new buyer can't dispute.

I was wondering how they got access to same pictures. Because AL has their water mark in the pictures. So the new seller must've go access to that picture from inside. Correct me if i'm wrong, unless of cause AL accepted screen shots with AL watermark in pictures.

I think your over heat in express way, air bubble sound and A/C cooling are not related. When you drive continuously in 5th gear below 100Kmph engine doesn't burn much fuel. Most of us can see drop in engine temperature. However when you start speeding up more around 110Kmph or above again the temperature rise the RPM increases and heat builds up. However in normal city drive is different to express way drive. There you maintain high RPM continuously for about one hour or two. However engines are designed to this. But with time the radiator, water pump lose it's efficiency. This is why old vehicles sometimes having heating issues in expressway. Drive in express way and observe the heat. If goes up take it out of the expressway in next exit drive in a normal road on 5th gear (keep O/D on if auto) and see. If temperature drops again, check your water pump, radiator and pressure cap condition. Do complete service for A/C from a good place for AC issue.

Oh now I remember.. its the indian one I red. I remember the name "Rudraprayag" @Tharanduj did you got the gasket? The exact gasket on ebay said it's 1700cc. May be 1.5 and 1.7 engines share same internal layout. Or could it be someone registered it as 1.5L engine

Well I know that BMWs are not about options and I have clearly stated the same in my post. However both these cars were modified with Mtech steering wheels (rised up??). So I just wanted to know someone meddled with the cars and since there are only handful of cars in sale thought one might know these cars personaly.
