mate... i need your help.... i got my car tuned at stafford and cleaned the injectors+ throtlle body and changed the fuel and air filters. the pick up is far better than before but i have a small concern. even before i did the tune up, when the car is stopped in traffic while in D mode, RPM tends to fluctuate and reaches even 200 sometimes but it becomes steady when i shift to P mode.things are still the same even after the tune up and i want to know whether this is normal or do i have to rectify this?? this hapens only some times and specially when i press the breaks and stop while driving at moderate speeds.

as far as i know , any auto box can cause problems if not properly maintained and this is applicable to multimatic too. apart from that need attention on oil changing inetrvals and the type of gear box oil. after all, multimatic is one of a kind driving experince.

mate...how much did it cost to replace all 4?? how much for front and how much for rear?? im also planning to replace in my ek3.

very unlikely mate....a good unriced one would be around 1.9 easily. why dont you try out a Vi ? you can get a really good one for 1.7.

maintenance i think both cars are reasonable fule consumption is much better on EK3 performance is similar unless its a VI or a VIRS which has a better pulling power. resale value will obviousely higher for a honda.

dude...i was also looking for the same few months back. most of the ek's with english plates were 99-00 ones and the prices were above 1.6m dont know whether the prices have come down further. but 99-00 vi or a virs is the best of the range since its fully loaded with ABS and dual airbag rear crystals etc... happy hunting mate..

good condition auto with rear crystals would go for 1.5 max.

go for the 2000 vti. 1.65 is worth it seems. i paid 1.45 for a 99 vi ywo months back.

hi all, my ek3 vi auto does about 11 in the city on negambo road rush hours morning and evening. it does about 14 outstation in my every week trip to kandy i think it can do better on outsation rides...

better go for b13. ample spares.

did you check the car?? what sort of a modification is that?? the price looks ok if you are happy with other modifications. check the milage too.

auto virs got better acceleration at s1 and s2 modes than a VI ,and virs got original spoiler

there are manual virs. my friend has a one Gcxxxx he got it for 1.8m. its in good condition.

20 is again too much though the condition is good. try to get a good condition VI. the max you would pay is 17.

by the way, why donty you consider mazda BJ5 W hatch back new face?? i think its the coolest hatch i have ever seen....mates what do you all think?? got a decent pick up too...and ample spares!!
