Hello friends, I want to replace batteries in my 4DR5 J44 Jeep. One battery is really weak but other one is not yet. Its got two 12V 70Ah Exide batteries. So I really appreciate if you can reply to this post with whatever you know..any advice... like which batteries would be better and which ones cost less.. and also any technical detail... Hello friends... I would like to know if there is a way to improve the suspension system (for being more comfortable on day to day running) of a 4DR5 J44 jeeps without replacing the leaf spring. May be adding some shock absorbers or springs or anyhow. Please post if you know something about it... Thank you. Nishan

Thanks for the reply.. My jeeps annual licensing fee is 6400 LKR and It has registered as a Motor Car (on Its Book).. But those vehicles that registered under Land Vehicle category have to pay only 400 LKR for annually. So If I can get that category changed it will be good. This is not about my Driving License. It is about the Vehicle License that we take annually...

Hi all.. Please tell me the way to change my vehicle from Motor Car to Land Vehicle in the book so that I can reduce the annual licensing fee. Its a 4DR5 J44 Jeep and Still not transfered to me. Can I get it done at the time it transfer? Or any other way? Please advice me. Thanks.

My jeeps YOM is 1975 - March. Anyway later I found I won't require one because those vehicles that were registered before 1975 - December are not required to have a green test. But I could get some idea about the Fuel efficiency by taking one I guess...

I think just because you are still 24 you have some time to do things that you like. But as an auto engineer we always can't expect not to be boring because we actually don't know the stuff behind the scene. Anyway it is good to learn and I also think G-Tech is not the best place to be an engineer . They teach to be a technician as my knowledge but try and see the curricular of each places and those courses. Anyway do a survey about both regarding what your likes and dislikes. Its good to get some idea from an expert in auto industry. Good luck with everything.

This happened to my 4DR5 once. I found that the nut which the battery wire connects to the motor was having a loose connection. So I just tight it .. (not me.. by an electrician.) Be careful. Overrunning the starter motor may damage itself.

Dude they have part time courses.. only on saturdays or sundays.. just call them and ask. Recent batch was started a month ago. may be you can enter to next batch. How often do you change the engine oil because some says once in 3000Km done and some says once in 5000Km done.. so how does this relate?
