  1. Is it automatic transmission? If so, U try this. Keeping the key at "ON", shift the transmission leaver to "R" and then shift back to "P" Then check it starts with no issue. If so it's a minor issue that transmission leaver doesn't signal properly that it is in "P". (As far as I know this signal sends via a switch installed on leaver area) Anyway try this & tell the results.

  9. 1. Select the car 2 buy 2. Deposit money to bank account given by car's owner Or hand over him cash (If deposit, give him bank slip) 3. Take the car transfer form signed by him, car registration book(Strongly recommend that registration had been done to the person who selling it to you), Revenue Licence, car key & car. 4. Get a letter signed that you paid for car & he sold it to you. 5. Drive home. Do re-registration to your name. All the very best with your new Car!!
  10. Mates, How to find true market value of a used car in Sri Lanka. As you all know, 2nd hand car market in Sri Lanka is highly out-of-standards. Even prices in websites like autolanka.com rules the entire car market. So is there any formula kinda thing that we can come up so that we can get a rough idea of the 2nd hand market value of a particular car model/ made based on YOM etc. How helpful it would be having such an organization? Is this happening in other countries? Expecting your valuable ideas......

    S.o.s

we can as long as battery is healthy. Ignition uses battery power. Ignition uses only battery power. when engine started, all electrical needs are satisfied by alternator & battery getting charged.
  12. You mean RPM stays same when AC On/OFF ?? Then issue. Like Ripper mentioned, should increase with AC ON.

  19. Does that sound come when you turn the steering and move?
  20. 1. High RPM to Low RPM change in cool start(1st Start of the day) is very normal. (RPM comes normal when engine become hot) 2. RPM increment when shift from a gear to Neutral is normal. 3. Slight increase of RPM when AC is ON is Correct. So the issue you got is opposite to the above points, the very 1st treatment that a mechanic/ Engineer should give should be Tune-up with specially cleaning TB.
  21. Using G* for 2+ years no issues..... Every brand will need to have proper water level maintenance & avoid misuse...
