  1. If 1,2 &3rd gears changes without an issue, it's not something related to ATF. And also oil condition cannot be visually checked. You better test whether u have "ON" overdrive. (4th gear) If ON, u might have gear box issue or overdrive circuit related issue.
  2. Nissan suggests Dextron III type of oil. Doesn't matter the brand name is it's Dex III. This is same as ATF. Brand name doesn't matter a lot but always Better ....

  4. There r 2 connectors on distributor. 6 pin & 2 pin. Any1 knows what 2 pin one is?

  5. Hi, In for automatic transmission cars, there is a cooling pipe bottom of the radiator to cool the transmission gear oil. If there's any damage to that pipe, it causes coolant to mix with transmission oil. This makes transmission oil a pink color milky look & also coolant will get milky look. Solution: 1. Remove coolant & fix the pipe bottom of the radiator. 2. Remove all transmission oil. 3. Flush cooling system as well as Transmission (Cooling system u can use water. But for transmission, u have to use oil which will be costly but can't help (Use cheaper oil brands)) 4. After coolant & trans oil get clean, then only fill both for final. That is fill radiator with coolant & transmission with ur loving good quality oil. Good Luck

  8. Hi Harshan, I have been doing this as a practice for quite long time now. Big help if you guys can tell me a good place that I can get the Fuel Pump, Pressure regulator checked & do the necessary fixes. (Better a place which has good EFI Knowledge & instruments) and preferbly around Malabe, Koswatta, Battaramulla. [Pls message me if naming in public not possible] Many Thanks!
  9. Hi Harshan, I got to know that in order to test a faulty fuel pump, do OFF & ON the ignition key several times & then crank. If it works, culprit is the fuel pump. So I did try this already. But it didn't make any change. Still it was hard to start like the same. So I decided that nothing wrong with the fuel pump. Please tell whether I'm correct or not

  11. Friends, I got Starter Motor serviced. According to the technician, it has no fault @all. He said it's in original condition & never serviced too. All bushes were all right. So he just cleaned carbon deposits & oiled it & fit again. After that, no change in my original issue. Please look the following patterns I have recognized. 1. Car is hard to start after it sits "engine OFF" for a period of time. 2. It starts when I hold the key in engine "ON" position for a little more time. (about 3-4 seconds) 3. If I try to start after few minutes of a successful start, it starts in 1st try without any issue. Please help !

  16. Crosswind. No I have not. Should I? But you might see that i stated above it starts very fine sometimes like no issue @all. So is it logical us to assume starter motor is culprit? Advice??
  17. This is regarding 1996 Nissan Presea EFI Automatic Trans. car, It's hard to start sometimes. Have to crank about 3 times to get it started.(Not only in cool condition. In hot too. Sometimes works just in 1st try. But no pattern). Running condition is 100% ok. * So far, cleaned Injectors, Throttle Body & replaced Injector O' rings. * Cleaned the fuel system with a bottle of Wu*** * Battery & charging system 100% ok. No success. NOTE: * I pumped Petrol those days that these shit people distribute those. But had no issue until I did about 400 Km. * Fuel tank has 1/4 of petrol pumped about 3 weeks ago(After confirming 90 octane is now ok) * About 2 places (So called Experts) could not find the issue * Only solution left according to My understanding is agent (AM*) Want Expert Advices.   19. At Laughfs, Koswatta. Once pumped exactly the same day morning that shit petrol news fired. Pumped for the 2nd time from the same place later too. (After shit petrol case settled)

  21. Cross, * If battery is week, no crank occur right? and also it'll affect when in running. * Starter motor (no idea) * Cleaned fuel system by a bottle or "wurth". (by driven by that bottle) (but surely it'll not clean the fuel tank, lines up to from fuel tank to fuel filter) **And also has a doubt that shit fuel victim Any idea friends?
  22. Friends, Why is a car hard to start despite engine is hot or cold. (All time) Have to try about 3 times to get it started. No issue in running condition.

  25. This is frequently met in diesels. when u feel this in morning, try to rev up engine to abt 2 000 RPM & check the vibration goes away. And let us know the results.
