U cant tell like that also machang. in Sl most of Defenders/LRs /Bjs/4DR5s they have that duplicate books..which is not genuine... If you have money you can get anything done from RMV. Best way their doing is giving a duplicate book..... Which is registered under ladies Im nt discriminating)Name... But their can be genuine cases also.... I have checked out so many jeeps to buy....But it says DUPLICATE

From my exp: im telling you no point reshaping leaf springs coz it will gain you hight but nt the comfort.If you want to gain the hight do it from thr leaf spring mounts.Thats the correct way of doing it.If not this can effect the controlling of the J44. If you need to get the comfort with new shoks u can reduce the no of leaf springs... Which I dnt recommend.... But when your doing it get a guy who can do a good job + guy who is having an idea about jeeps...if not like me you have to go get it fixed for 3 to 4 times....

True enough mate...But I did that for 2 Honda Jade 250cc & 1 Hornet + my current bj.So Im kind of tired.Need to take a small relax time without staying at garage during my weekends.... Yea it is advertised... Can we get enough parts for Petrol in srilanka?

Who is paying taxes for their speed & fun... Their ripping us off telling smoke test & all other stuff.... Never mind Driving a good car..What about the two defenders which pump fuel from our money & the security guys which get paid from our taxes.... (18 in to 30 540k only the salary)......... Fun with security.....Every stuff we buy we pay a thumping amount of tax to make our MPs to have fun... I think the rule they brought for JPS At least A/L should be there...Should come to these MPS also..Then we can see who will remain.... Way to go man........ Keep it up.....

Guys, What we do in Srilanka. We Import normal petrol & other fuel which is 60% to 75% of the market request.For other 25% we bring crude Oil & do the needful in sapugaskanda.From that only we are generating Small bit of gas.(They are going to put this to the market for last 5 to 10years Spectco Gas.) Then the Tar which we use for roads.Like wise.But IOC they only bring refine fuel from India.

machnag my advice is nt to put the Japanese engines.... coz it will let your vehical price down when your gona sell it.What you can do is there are guys who take out 12j onecs & put 300...so find that kind of a place & get the 12j for you.If not be4 doing it have a visit near Hyde park & check out the prices to re do your engine........ keep us posted..

Cant machang coz those batteries has been used to get 24v current.there for as far as I know you cant use it for 12v current....

normally my wiring system carries 24v frm two batteries. If I take 12v frm only one battery there will be higher current taken from one than other.will that be a issue?

Dear All, Need few clarifications..... 1.planning to fix a CD player to my Bj43..... Where can I get 24V to 12 V converter......(Pet#o price is high.) Do i have to fix 2 or 3 if Im fixing SUB.... 2.Is there any other way we can do it? 3.If I fix a 24V cassette Speakers can I on with 24V current? 4.Or can I use one Battery & get a 12V line & finish my headache..... is it ok with the vehical.....

Great...... Congrats on your new j44..... Fog lamps do you have an idea of the type of fogs ur going to use use? High lift jack or the monkey jack you can get from motorcade (Branded stuff ),Suzuki lanka (they import)..... if not Sakuna motors at kottawa.... they are also masters of it...... Outdoorsman they fixed & give it to you.....If your going for a winch go for a 24V without going for a 12V from one battery... jerry can & all have a run around kurunegala side......if you have time........If nt go to a place where they fixed & get it done.I think Octomber we are having Colombo motor show 2011 At BMICH...Which you can get all those suff done.
