this is the govt's ultimate plan.. they gonna increase the vehicle prices insane so no one buys them & will use the public transport, there will be no private busses cos the price of a bus will be abt 20mil eventually & Gamunu & his clan will not have money to buy them, but the govt will sing a mou secretly with india to get busses for a very cheap rate.. & they will buy a lot cos it will be the CTB monolpoly on roads. This way by collecting funds through ctb the govt will one day cover its budget gap & it will solve the trade deficit as well. so ultimately whn tings are alright in the country the vehicle prices will face a major reduction.. you will be able to get a Prado for like 1.5 mil.. & a maruti for 75K... so dnt cry jhonny.. good days are to come.. Praise the King!

Most of these popular brands (ES,CS.. etc) produces their models for domestic (Japan) use & for export.. just wanna know wat are the cons of getting a domestic model over an export model.. ex: ES1 - Japanese Domestic 1.5 Litre , also found in 1.7 Litre @ Asian Domestic model and USDM (US Domestic Model) ES3 - Japanese Domestic 1.7 Litre (FL Grade) ES5 - Export Premium Model 1.6 Litre ES8 - Export Basic Model 1.5 Litre Should you buy a ES5/8 over an ES1/3 in Sri lanka? Also out of curiosity.. wat exactly is meant by a Japanese domestic vehicle? (low ground clearance? 95 Octane?)

wat u tink will be the loss in an auto against a manual? btw hw is d legspace in the driving seat? cos im 6 feet with long legs & had an extremely hard time with a A star recently. As ive heard HRV got good handling..isnt it?

should we take 10 as an average?

unfortunately ill have to go for an Auto cos there is a lady who will be using it as much as i am .. might have to bare the cost of another few kmpl

santafe the 2001 got the hulky look.. & spacious. but i got no idea abt its engine n the fuel consumption. Hrv is kindof a different kind & it is a compact suv with a Civic engine i guess ( CRV has the accord engine) & as the critics argue it does good on fuel.. only tings is its stupid look ..lol

Ive been hunting for something less than 2.5mil for sometime.. Pajero io, Santafe (2001), HRV, KIA sportage, Mazda Tribute are some ive come across. Love the HRV & Santafe but dnt have a good idea abt their fuel economies, repair costs n all. I got no idea of buying the GDI Pajero io cos of its cons with engine & the fuel consumption. Ive seen a Mazda tribute 2002 for 2.5mil here in good condition... but i just need some comparison btween the SUV's of this league.. any advice/help on this might save a lot of my as* flattered,hard earned money going out for some useless crap.. thanx

u can withdraw from a debit card through a local ATM, btw its only the HNB debit card u can use in PP. and there are ways to verify ur account.. also if u need a VCC can be done.. ull not find much info here abt pp, ebay , moneybrokers n all.. go to Ela****.com , there ull find all the info u need.

boys, im searching for that thread which had the KmpL figures of all the common vehicles in city & outstations (Not this, ) but i do not see it here anywhere.. can someone who is subscribed to that thread post the link here please.. In the first page itself it had a list of the cars & the figures in front of them.. Thanx again.

nothings gonna stop Nano imports or Nano taxis, even if there is an effect with these fires it will be very short term. cos nano is kind of an infamous govt project & nano taxis are owned by a well knwn politician in cmb.

well.. sometimes converting ur CEDIA to something like this might help u to forget GDI issue...lol

Do we have CEDIA EFI's in sri lanka ? or is it only GDI's they make at Mitsubishi???
