Its sort of like this But much worse

After a dead stop at a red light and when i put the gear to the 1st and try to go forward the car starts to rattle like crazy the whole car shakes almost stalling the engine and when I try to slowly release the clutch same prob I can even hear the drive shaft shaking then after accelerating foot down and slowly releasing the clutch helps. But starting from the 2nd is fine a little rattle and it goes fine after that shifting isn't a issue at all. What is causing this ? Cooked clutch , fly wheel ? Cheers.

Roxy is priced at 2400/- Per liter and Duco @ 1400 per Liter People say that Duco is as same as the quality as the Roxy its cheap because its Made in Sri Lanka ? If this story is true I would go wit the Sri Lankan made coz its a 'Ape deyal" and is cheaper lol any ideas on this mates ? Cheers

Hey, Well my friend just bought a car and it has a engine conversion because the old engine went bad on the previous owner and now it has a toyota Instead of a Mitsubishi, but its a petrol to petrol conversion and when he bought it he has asked the owner if there is a problem with out this engine being registered and if he will have problems in the future and he has told him that a petrol to petrol Engine conversion isn't sensory to be registered and in fact the owner has the license renewed to 2013 and the eco test completed with the engine not registered and this vehicle is a 7 Sri. Hope I explained it clear hoping for a reply soon. Cheers PS- And We asked some more people and they say that it isn't necessary and the eco test isn't necessary if its under 10Sri ?

So I just bought a Ford Cortina Mk3 and in it is a Toyota 3A 1.5L engine with a T40 Trani, Carb engines are a whole new level for me but yes I'm learning every day. So my noob questions are- Why does the engine stop like in 3-5 Sec after taking my foot off the gas padel at idle ? How do i check the Oil level on the t40 tranni ? How many HP does this Engine come with? (as i heard its around 70 ?) And when the gears are at neutral and when i take the foot of the clutch pedal there is sort of a crunching or grinding sound coming off the engine/Trani and when I push on the clutch all the way it goes away ? Clutch plates ? Thats it for now I'm sorry for the stupid questions I'm just a complete noob xD PS- If its possible could some one link me to the E book of the Engine manual and the t40 trani ? Cheers mates!

Alright found it its a Toyota 3A engine its a 1.5L http://en.wikipedia....ota_A_engine#3A Any one familiar with this engine ? Wonder how much HP this makes wiki doesn't seem to record that on there info.

I really don't know anything about that car but What about the EG8 ? Looks better and a good resale value and spare parts.
