Honda city is not a bad one.But if you consider the resale value, spare parts,comfort and the more space in the cabin.better leg room. and front view..I would say you should go for 121.

I'm also very sorry to say you that it's not showing off.It's the development. As you say.then there will be very less vehicles in Sri Lanka if everybody think like you.Why are you comparing Australia with Sri Lanka???.is there any point as far as culture,or economy is concern we can match? how many countries you have visited mate?.you should have visited other south asian countries and compare how the standard of Sri Lankan living style. Other than Pakistan,Bhutan,and Afganistan,I have visited all the other south asian countries.Even if india has very hightec IT cities like Bangalore, their average living standard is far more behind Sri Lanka..The only country who can match Sri Lanka a bit as far as living quality is concern is the Maldives.. I haven't visited Australia. But I have visited USA in 2007 and i hope that it's a developed country than the Australia.If i compare SL with US standards it's not a fare comparison..I don't know whats wrong with you.. fisrt of all you tell me why you migrated to OZZ? I'm sure you are one of those having migration fever..

Ok guys, This thread is going well and a ton of ideas have come up and appreciate all the positive and more negative ideas about the prius..right at the moment i don't want to speak in favor of Prius,even though i'm a owner of a Prius.Coz still it's too early for me to say whether it's good or bad. ok guys i bought my car on January 2011 and up to now there was no major worry.Let me update you all maintenance i do periodically.To be honest even if i will be in trouble one day i won't hide it from you all..just want to share the experience as it would be very useful for the members here who are eagerly waiting to see the outcomes of Prius.

Machan.most of the push bikers before 4 years are now proud owners of motor bikes in my town.and those who used motor bikes are now running their dream Maruti.The maruti owners have upgraded to Swift, Demio, Fit..and some has more powerful machines like prados and monteros..It's developing machan..really i'm happy to see people grow up their wealth step by step..Isn't it something we all should be happy about??? in fact there can be useless not for nothing people who doesn't want to go beyond the darkness.But most of them have their own dreams and working hard to make them a reality.

Thank for the link MD.The public transport which he (Parak) states is not yet a reality in Sri Lanka.I don't know why he doesn't know to do a fare comparison of countries and people.If it's in between UK and Australia it can be a realistic comparison.

Hey your post took me to my memories of the past.My first car was Mirage CK2A.Those days i didn't have any idea about the vehicles .just bought it as my uncle recommended..honestly it didn't give me much of problems.Just did the periodic maintenances.and had a fare amount of comfortability at that time (Back in 2002 )and was reasonably economical as it was a manual transmission.. used it for two years without major headache.

I'm sorry to tell you that Sri Lanka is not been developed yet to buy vehicles for passion.It's just the requirement. There maybe some people who do it for pleasure.but the majority do it to make their life convenient.Do you think it's easy task to ride push bike in SL with the smoky and dusty roads with the burning sun?.What you are telling maybe applicable to Australia,but not for Sri Lanka.People buying vehicles states a simple logic..thats the life standard of the Sri Lankan people are getting better.

I believe it's still too early to make opinions about hybrid maintenance costs.I think after one year there will be a very interesting thread on this matter at AL.

I have driven all those three cars you have mentioned.For me the best is premio.but it's not good for me as I'm traveling long distances everyday (considering only the fuel consumption ). Axio was my last used car and i'm not at all satisfied with that.For me Allion performance and handling is same as prius..but allion is bit more controlled than prius when it's over 120 kmph. so if i rank according to the ride quality ,and handling and other standard options i would rank them as follows. 01.Premio 02.Prius 03.Allion 04.Axio

Yes.I sold it.not even used it for 4 months. yes you are right mate..121 is far more better than axio for me.Now using a second generation prius, and i'm reasonable satisfied with it, as it's good for my requirements.For me the handling of prius is better than axio.I met a doctor who is using an axio G grade and he argued with me that it's more comfortable and ride quality and handling better than prius when we met in a service station.I gave him a test drive, and he immediately changed his mind.

Great..I may also think of a SUV after some time..but kyron is bit too big for me as my wife also will be driving it..I think the one which will suite to me will be something same size as RAV-4 and it sound so funny that wiper and signals in other way round

I don't think there will be special service centers for hybrids.Other than the hybrid system, almost everything not having a major difference from a normal sedan.for your wheel bearings replacement, any reliable place who does that work will be fine.

Hay very nice to hear that machan..hope you'll have a very good time with your new Kyron..update your experience to here machan..will be more usefully to other members who would like to try a Micro SUV..

check a second generation prius mate..it's fuel consumption display normally display it as KM/L not MPG..but if you search a youtube video relating to prius..it shows as MPG.It's just a display option can be changed according to the measure unit you normally use in your country..
