      Got 1 for an Asus laptop some time back. Arrived at doorstep. No Taxes.

      No taxes. As long as lithium batteries are properly packaged and labelled with the obligatory warnings no red flags will be raised. I buy quite a few lithium polymer batteries for my model aircraft and have never had an issue.

    I don't think that will be a problem, you will be able to get a lease from almost any leasing company, though you will probably not be able to get a full lease.

    Soo near but yet so far, I hate things like these happen, frustrating indeed. Im also surprised to hear that only one lancer was imported. Anyway I hope that things get sorted out soon and that you and we get to see that baby soon.

    If the car is genuine and has a good history I don't see a big problem with the number of owners. Btw how much is he asking for the car?

    Yes, the Leasing companies name get printed on the book as a previous owner. Maybe it was leased few times before. And I think when the lease is settled the actual owners name get printed again on the book. Maybe the RMV could provide information about the previous owners but I don't think that you could do a request directly, maybe the current owner can. btw is this car on open papers now?

    I doubt that there are places that cut these mirrors in Kandy, did you check silva motors in Tennekumbura? I got the whole retract power mirror unit for 2500 for my AE91 few years back.

    I also agree. 121 could be a economical and reliable car, but most of them are over 10 years old and they have a price tag of 2.8m to 3.4m, thats outrageous!

Maintenance cost is not much, parts are freely available. imo its a good spacious car with average performance.

    Like Crosswind said I'd also choose the Lancer over the other two, also a manual 141 would be a little hard to find.

    Besides look at the classifieds and in car sales, there are a lot of them for sale. Looks to me like its a very popular car these days and they get sold pretty quickly. and there are a lot of them on the road too. Like others have mentioned, don't worry about it too much, if you like it, find a good one and go for it.
