LET US DRINK MATE..... MANY HAPPY RETURNS ON THE DAY. By the way bro, call me ( URGENT )

Z as you mentioned my name. I think body kits are really Ugly. And they are not practical. Unless Properly Done they Add Weight ( I have see Tons of Cataloy Added to Some Body Kits ) Body Kit Market world wide is Dying. Customers are now chasing Behind Something Called the JDM look which is More Of Lip Type Kits made in Urethane ( Plastic ). This is because Installation is Easier and Painting easier and they do not break like fiberglass, Consumers are going more for Bigger Alloys. ( In USA 18 and Above is the craze ). My Opinion is a that a set of 17 or 18 inch wheels and Lowering Suspension will give X 10 times better look than any body kit. In my view body kits are a past trend ( Rice Rocket Era ). Go for a Decent set of RIMS ( 17 or above ) with a Good Set Lowering Springs. It Increase Your Handling and Better Braking due to less forward body roll.

O/T Machan i seriously cannot understand what you are trying to say. LOL I never doubt the capability of Sri Lankans Cricketers Bro. Our Guys are very well Talented. Thats why I never compared them with Banagaladesh. LOL Back to the Topic.

MMM it seems you have done your homework very well. I see a Evo Beater in the Making. Dont worry Machan you will be able to soon enter this event and we are all behind you Supporting. Supercar event is in Transition and all New Faces are coming wining many events and this happening almost after 7 years. (Like Bangaladesh Beating India ) So its again Great to travel Such Far Distances to watch the Super Car Event. Check how fast this 2.5 Cosworth Sti is. It Rocks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rlBcqIiNxY

Maliths what are the Prices of these two cars ( Petrol and Diesel ). Also have you compared the Price of the Peaugoet 407 Price with the Honda Civic Price
-
Machan one sti which was the first sti 7 in SL was sold for 2.8. Then i think there are couple of more sti 7 in the price range of 3.5 - 3.6. My car was sold for 3.9 MIL as it was UNREG. I had a loss of 300,000 as i installed brembos worth 100,000 and i brought the car in 2005 for 4.1 mil. But the New owner sold it for around 3 mil as he could not pay the lease. Taking all this FRUIT SALAD TOGETHER i feel WRX 7 would be worth 2.8 MAX cos you get the Sti 7 version at around 3.3 - 3.5 range. Machan why Not Buy Darins Car. Thats a Real GOOD buy. Cos the Sti version of it is UNREG is Almost 2 Million More. I think Darins car has very good price Tag.
-
As its a TRIP may be Rs 2.5 mil to Max 2.8. Not anything Above.
-
Machan its a WRX. How to Identify 1 ) Brembos 2 ) Recardo Seats 3 ) RPM Cut at 8000 ( WRX is 7000 ) 4 ) Bigger Intercooler with STI Written on It. 5 ) Six Speed Gear Box ( Sorry No Triptronics on JDM Sti's ) 6 ) Manifold is RED

Gaya Happy Bday, Ashan by the way I missed your BDAY thread too.

I am sure all our AUTOLANKA Fans will be behind you DARIN. Great Work. Please do keep all of us Updated on what is your First Race, so that we all can make sure that we are present for the Event to show our Support. By the way Darin, From my View Subaru Sti 9's are not that MOD freindly, But Evo 9's are. Correct me if i am wrong. So why Choose the Most Difficult Platform of Vehicale to Compete. Just would like to know your Proffesional Opinion. ALL THE BEST FOR 2007 SEASON.....

Sadly Sandeep Kaushal Jayasinghe Warapitiya was a Trinitian and was in a Junior Batch, Sad to see 3 young chaps die. Never Drive Fast. This is a good lesson for everyone and even us. We take everything for Granted and drive like idiots, even some times after drinks. Its really not worth the risk .

No thats not excell world. Guess ??

zeem, You can do a engine swap http://www.rsportscars.com/eng/cars/mazdaspeed3.asp Mazdaspeed3 is Kicking Asphalt and Taking Names The 2007 Mazdaspeed3 is one of the fastest and quickest front-wheel drive cars in the world. With a zero-to-60 time under six-seconds and an electronically limited top-speed of 155 mph, Mazdaspeed3 is the class of the sport-compact “pocket-rocket” crowd. The Mazdaspeed3 features a compact, lightweight five-door body paired with a 263-horsepower 2.3-liter DISI (Direct Injection Spark Ignition) Turbo engine, giving it a best-in-class power-to-weight ratio and making it one of the highest performing front-wheel drive cars in the world. Power and Handling Under the hood of the Mazdaspeed3 is a version of the turbocharged and intercooled 2.3-liter four-cylinder direct-injection gasoline engine that powers the highly regarded Mazdaspeed6 sport sedan and the CX-7 crossover SUV. Engineered to deliver high performance at all speeds, along with low exhaust emissions and excellent fuel economy, Mazda’s MZR 2.3 DISI turbocharged engine produces 263 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 280 lb-ft torque at 3,000 rpm in the Mazdaspeed3. Key engine components include aluminum block and head construction with forged steel internal components — crankshaft and connecting rods — for long-lasting durability, while balance shafts help eliminate noise and vibration. A large air-to-air intercooler and direct fuel injection cool temperature inside the cylinder. Sophisticated Torque Management To increase drivability and minimize torque steer and wheel spin in what is a very powerful front-wheel drive car, a sophisticated torque-management system combines with equal-length hardened driveshafts and a cone-type Super LSD limited slip differential. High Body Rigidity and Specially Tuned Chasis Like the 2007 Mazda 3, the new Mazdaspeed3 features a body with increased rigidity. The Mazdaspeed version is based on the Mazda 3 5-Door hatchback, with local reinforcements added to produce a body sufficiently stiff to stand up to the demands of 263 horsepower. Suspension and brakes have also been specially tuned. Body rigidity has been increased through several measures, including a reinforced front cowl that is joined directly to the top section of the front damper mount, assuring the same rigidity as a car fitted with a strut tower bar (which would not have been possible because of the placement of the intercooler above the engine). This prevents deformation of the front suspension towers under cornering load and maintains correct suspension geometry. Mazdaspeed Design DNA Mazdaspeed3 's styling pursues a look of strength and solidity in a design that conveys the car's dynamic performance. Its form is characterized by boldly flared front fenders and effective use of strong edges on the hood. These combine with the functional forms of the bumpers, spoilers and other parts developed for aerodynamic performance. Overall, Mazdaspeed3's design is sporty and strong, befitting a high-performance model, without exaggerated styling cues. Interior Design Mazdaspeed 3 ’s cockpit is a harmonious synthesis of functional sportiness and stylish comfort. A high-quality black finish sets the tone of the interior, accented by red stitching on the seats, steering wheel, and the shift boot to create a sporty yet refined look. The instrument panel includes a matte black decorative insert panel finished with a hairline treatment to underscore the vehicle’s personality. A leather-wrapped shift knob, aluminum pedals and stainless steel scuff plates further contribute to the sporty, high quality feel that distinguishes Mazdaspeed models, while front sport seats with the Mazdaspeed logo – developed specifically for the Mazdaspeed3 – on the seatbacks provide firm support and comfort.

" U know a skilled driver in a slower car can hold back a driver in a faster car if he has track position " Perri, Janaka Dias infact is a very Skilled Driver, but i would not go to say that he was slower driver because his TIMING was faster than all other drivers. He may be driving a 1993 Subaru WRX, but his driving is what matters. He won Gunners Supercross and Also did extremely well in Gajaba / Foxhill and even Last Year Tissa. We are looking at a Talented Racing Driver. Not Only him. The Same Story goes to Dinesh Jayawardena and Mahinda Premarathne who is also very talented. -
