    I think CTB used only those Isuzus on the long distance runs like Jaffna to Colombo and apparently they used to overtake the other so called luxuary buses on the same route which left much earlier

    Are you refering to the Ramakirshna road Petrol Stration? if so there have been complaint against them before too a word of advice dont sit inside the car,get down and then tell the attendant how much to pump and keep a close eye on the pump that way you will make it tough for them to cheat

    bumping the thread whats the latest in tinting by the cops,can all four shutter glasses be tinted? or just the rear ones (real pain if the cops ask you to remove the front tint ) also what the rule on the intensity of shading?

    mate dont think too highly about road safety in other asian countries either if you think SL is bad (esp cambodia,vietnam,india etc)

    Bumping the thread Can anyone recommend a place to get the locks repaired as the front door left side cannot be opened with key from outside,drivers side door cannot be locked with the key,hence need to lock it by pressing locking latch and to oen the key works (it was like it when the car was bought) any reasonable place in Colombo esp near Nuegoda are is great

    Didnt you habe any issue using refil cartridgees i know some case when they dont work and in case when it spolit the printer head for good

    thats a great car mate I remember that the Hunters had very good steel body (thicker gauge metal when compared to other cars of that era) is it a 1500CC or 1600CC engine?

    true indeed some of the adverts are fakes and scams! saw a english no Hyundai Accent for 750k in sooriyawewa of all places hahahaah and the guy wanted 5000 bucks and said he will bring it to colombo to show didnt go through as it could be i) a stolen car he is trying to palm of,f as who will sell an Accent for that price,ii)get the 5000 bucks and never turns up! on the other hand there are many genuine adverts there as well and I bought a very decent vehicle from it,its just that since its free you got to be 100% carefull and use your discretion also sometme back i think i saw a Capri for 450k one day and next day it was taken off! (either a fake or he realised his pricing mstake and deleted it !)

    could be a link or bush is broken due to harsh use or brute force in trying to engage the r/gear! ,in older cars there is a metal cup like thing which aids in selecting the gears which when broken wont allow the gear to be changed

    the car looks quite good in the pic and i assume the rust is just surface rust as the 203 body steel is very thick so chances of badly rotten body is less one thing you need to do is check the electrical wiring fully as rats can play hell when the car is garaged and the last thing you need is it to have a short circuit! please update with more pics of interior and exterior i assume that this car has 2 nos ,6 volt batteries?

    this is not really DIY but didnt want to open another thread does anyone know a good place where they repair digital clocks in a car (car in question is a Laser )
