may be i am wrong. had similar issues on alternator on a ek. reapired two times. not solved. fixed a recon device. all went. cost only 8k. parts are freely available. better to identify the exact issue.

we called them V tec magic Switches..... while you are driving around 60-80kmph just press S & see what's happening.. S- for Sports mode where your engine running @ high RPM E-For economy mode

This is apply only for ek3 where the CVT box are coming with p r n d l and s s1 or e & s switches in steering or near by great lever.

Keep us update on the progress. Also change your atf if car has clocked nearly 15k.

it not valid. you need to change it every 15k. it's good if you can do it earlier 2-3k as we are running here with lot of traffic & short journeys. also if he has not done any recent ATF change im telling you to do it with out any delay. as cvt boxes are vey sensitive.

with your informations its bit diffuclt any one to comment whats exactly happening? Describe when it happening? as you guess from where it's coming? if it's coming from engine is it while A\C on or off?

This is not the first thing as well as last thing. same thing happening in some reputed companies as well.it will be bit difficult in our country to expect such things 100%.

Wellcome to the forum and congtrz on your buy. N16 Sylphy 1800 is very good reliable car with good interior which i too loved. i have used one for a while few months back and it has enough power to move very quickly.when it comes to fuel it doenst give any high numbers like others in the same range but 10-12 easily can get in long distance. is this have triptronic gears? have you received any repair\service details from previous owner? fully engine tune up will cover injector cleaning as well whcih cost around 15-20k with some parts replacements. EFI tune up only will cost around 5-7K. Also do a search in the forum. you can find lot of informations About this car.

+1 to davy a fully engine tune up might solve this problem if you haven't done any recently.also finding a genuine iacv will be bit tough as well as it will cost around 10 to 15k.

A simple question which I interest to know. I have noticed that when some air crafts are gone there is a hard smoke lines in the sky which will disappear after 10-15 mints. This is not for all. So I just noticed it in flightradar24 and it was a Boeing 787\same in 747 as well.

at 38000 ft, the air temperature should be around -80 degrees. Imagine throwing a bucket of water at that temp. It would freeze instantly. But gravity will start pulling the ice downwards gradually and it will eventually melt. That's why the white trail vanishes after 10-15 mins. Irrespective of the atmospheric condition, this will happen but if the atmospheric conditions are bad (rain/low clouds/heavy dust), you will not see the white trail.

Simply it indicates me a leak in your head gasket. did you noticed any air bubbles when open radiator cap? oil in the radiator white smoke occasionally slight drop in engine oil level slight drop in water level heat comes to 1/2 level when AC Off Heat is below 1/2 always when AC on all of these are the early symptoms of gasket leak. what was the reason for previous radiator replacement? is your fans are kicks on correct time?

i have experienced the same issue sm time back and finally end up by replacing 1 side ballast.might be the same issue. busually HID ballasts are starting to give troubles after some time back. Better to consult a good electrician. -
