Sadly the problem starts again from last weekend after around 2500 Km's check the alternator output with same electrician. charging is ok but lights flickering. but some times it's not there. so he suggest to meet my garage man it myt an efi issue so went to c my honda man & he wanted me to replace the alternator as CDI unit is faulty and it's comon in ek3's ?? with out checking by using any gadjet now again to my electrician & plan to take the whole thing out & check one by one what can be the issue? will a repair gives a better out put or need a replacement? i dont like to go for a used\reconditioned one as i dont know it's condition and need to repair this some how. in general, CDI & regulator both same ?

has he done anything in petrol pump? maual or auto tranny ?

i would suggest you to first change your a\c technician.my one having small condenser with dual core. climate control does good job it everything up to standard even with 25' C..ask some assistant fro other to guide you to a good place. btw your one is mi ? ml ?

The one i used was a good one & was not a head q for me.it a Manual one with ABS when i got clocked 182000 km Replaced all lower arm bushes Replaced Brake Pads\calipers After two months had to replace clutch plates & due to some manufacture faults on product i used had to take out them after two days. sort out easily. after few months starts to heat.found out it was relay which connecting to fans just 500/- Did a fully EFI tune up. it worked perfectly. out put was really good. sold @ 198000km not a single oil leaks. no sensor faults. no electrical issues. A\C was perfect. every electrical part functioned well. super interior. not a single damage.paint was bit faded. Still worrying.

so my memory goes back for few years when we had Dx Ke72 i was around 15-16 years that time. it started to heat & dad gave it to our usual mechanic. he sorted it & we went a trip to dambulla. even we ran around 70/80km temp gauge was very low. I can remember I touched the engine & said to dad wade hariyatama karala wage . all that means dat maka bass had remove our thermostat. in our trad sunny also we faced same situation. one of the previous user has removed the thermostat. as I was not aware on all these things those days we didn’t noticed importance of thermostat. but on my last buy ek3 I specially checked the thermostat functions after reading few posts. just my experience thanks for sharing VVTi

or can water leak in to your plugs or injectors. i would suggest you to not try any single attempt to start the car w\o consulting your mechanic. as you said if it's a good wash sure water has leaked to some engine & elctrical parts.

+1 checked the documents from RMV as well. this is a very cheap price for a Hiace with a english number even if ita converted one. if youre not an expert, just do a visit with some one who expert in these kind of vehicles as there can be something similar cut & paste and hidden.

Yep Komi.. it's not simple if power sterring pump other parts are worn. if so once you fixed this if it starts to make hum sound when turning left & right must be carefull

well had same experience on a ek3 . you have to taken out the power steering pump & replace the o ring. this will solve your problem. cost will be around 2000/-

well no more advice's mate. only suggestion is do not take any further risks. get this solve permanently asap.or else you will end up with your blown head gasket which will make your wallet hall larger than a radiator 2,3 times.

An auto Electrician can solve this issue easily. do not let them to by pass the main switch if it has failed own operation. you will end up will blown fuses. you can find a main unit easily in any recon part shop.best to replace.

well the same i was tried to do on my ek3 as there are few marks on front leather sets. but i was unable to find the similar material i was give up that. so i loked for totall upgrade to virs or normal vi seats all said they cannot find the same. if you have any contact in japan yes it possible i guess.
