does the gear indicator bulb in the dash board blink?? also check the oil.once u change the gear oil,you have to keep it in start for some time and then check the oil level again.usually it goes down and again you have to fill it upto the level.was it done properly?

did you get it solved? I did almost all i can do spent more than 100k on the gear box and every thing.only thing which i dint touch is the ECU.fed up now! let me know if any one of you find a solution please.i will post if i happen to do.

well i read almost all the threads about gen2 but nothing had a clear cut post.every one says the gear box was sluggish but then says car is good performance wise.so i dunno whether its the pulling power or the response which is meant by the gear box is sluggish

after 3 years! but still if some one is looking for better power,its honda JDM. Gen2 110bhp ek3 exi 105bhp ek3 vi 135 bhp other JDM ek3's such as SiR or Type R's will not fit in to this price range i suppose

okay after two years,it might sound like a stupid thing to post on this threat.but just wanted to know whether ur gen2 is a manual or an auto? I heard the Auto is not so good both fuel and performance.just wanted to clear things out

mine also has a slight buckle which is not visible.i dont feel it when i drive either but the guy at the wheel alignment place told me that it cannot be balance because it is out of shape.so i just run with that wheel in rear.anyways how long do they need to straighten it? I mean macro people

yes for a Manual car those are the usual figures.An auto will never do more than 9-10 in the city traffic

as per my knowledge throttle position has a particular angle.so u might as well not remove it.try another TB and see

I actually took it to mahesh n Ajith both.tried two throttle bodies too (recon ones). But still the problem persists

Yes I actually ran a scan at one of the garages near by and also scanned it at the BOSCH service center.no error codes were found.

I tried it.turned the climate control knob into red and kept the engine in start while having the radiator cap open.kept it until the coolant over flow n then closed the cap.but no luck! ;(

Bro I think you have to either clean or replace ur IAC valve.then you will be good to go!

i tried a new (recon) IACV but dint work.its hell of a headache :S these days um broke so couldnt spend money on the car.will let u know once i fix it.um going to waruna and see.so far i've shown it to Mahesh,Ajith and also the BOSCH service center
