Most of the time it doesnt fail at once. These are the signs of it malfunctioning at certain speeds. Once the spin rate passes it will work again, until one fine day it decides to stop completely. Make sure u find the right distributor and that its in good order. Make sure u also get it installed right and in some care u can flop the timing if u put it in wrong. So make sure the new one goes exactly on the same splines that the old one came out or else u will have wrong timing. Change this and see. You will have the solution to your problem. Good luck

Your distributor is on its way out. Change it with a good one and your problem will be sorted. Most probably your car wont start one of these days.

Thanks for the advice Clark's son. Will try and see how it goes. Tried many shops including cusion work places but no one imports seats for cars as apparently its illegal. So finding a set is harder than i thought. One place has a full leather trim in immaculate condition and wants 60,000Rs.

Its to stop some fools trying to destroy a perfectly good engine.

4D56 isnt much heavier than a 4D55. They are almost the same engine. When you go for a 4D56 try to get a turbo intercooler one. Dont worry about suspension, as it can handle it with ease. Nothing need to be done with brakes either, your not replacing it with a rocket engine. The 4D56 is a way better engine and it will also couple with the gear box with no issue. Im an engineer for Mitsubishi NZ so take my word.

I was really thinking of innocent people who get trapped in these deals where these dealers bring out crap from Japan and where ever and do poor jobs and sell them with wound up meters. I feel sorry for all those people who pay hard earned money so these dealers can keep rocking. If all vehicles are brand new people have a good chance of buying something genuine and decent. Sorry if i sounded harsh but when i see the tricks and dirty works most dealers pull it boils my blood.

Finally some crap cars will stop coming to the country. They should ban all used cars being imported and allow only brand new cars like some countries.

It actually is quite famous overseas. Not sure about it being legal or not. I found out it actually comes as a lens sticker which can be glued to the head light. I also saw this on a 141 today and looked awesome. I tried to find it here but no luck.
