Update. Bought the front 2 seats. Black. Kinda sporty. Good back support and very good hold. Will be wrapped in leather. As of now, the Jeep is at the Canopy place. We will get it back on Thursday. Things being done- Full Canopy-Black. Rear seats(made to custom order.wraped in leather.black) Full floor carpeting(the plasticky material. Gonna put rubber carpets after.) Front seats will be installed. Last pic is after a paint. We wanted some places redone,because ocd. So the pic you see is not the final product.

If its a modern car, I'm sure you dint neef to sand blast it. Infact newer cars just get the coating on top of the paint. I believe it was like 10 cans(bro went ocd on the nooks and crannies). Let me confirm this.

Thanks bro. Everything from the ride to and from Kandy to Colombo is bad. The inner city traffic is worse. Kandy Tuks can make you a poor man.

Kandy road has traffic from Warakapola itself, and gets much worse from Pilimatalawa. Lake round is worse than herpes in the school time. Brother lives in Baseline road. Near Lanka hospital. *shudders just thinking about it*

We could not find a Brand new tank made for these jeeps. Plus it would also rust in 10-20 years. So we decided to re-tinker it and then do it up in SS. I will get back to you with the thickness of the SS. Since this is a short-wheel base, we decided not to dual AC it. So far no issues with cooling/overheating. Thank you. Appreciate the feedback greatly.

Oh yes. And my brother lives in the middle of the nastiest traffic. Plus Kandy traffic is also an absolute nightmare.

True. Remember back in 2005-9 when there were not many online classifieds and relied on Lihipita and Hitad to find cars lol. I guess quicksite have their own market stratergy as they have already captured the sri lankan classifieds market. It was bloated 4 years ago with multiple ads of same car and irrelevant ads, fake listings and whatnot. Now they charge for the adverts which last 3 weeks and also earn from displaying BS ads on their site.

Search "Mitsubishi jeep 4dr5 " on facebook. There is one group with 58K members. Another with 27K Members. Both have abundance of knowledge of literally anything Jeep.

Actually we are gonna fit the doors. Them flaps are pain at higher speeds. Not expecting an igloo like AC. Just to take the sweat off when driving in traffic.

AC has been fixed. The cooling is Awesome it seems. Needs a good tidy up. pic taken in between painting. Await for more pictures.

Update. This what a 51 year old fuel tank looks like. The tank had several tiny holes on it. It has been cut open. And it has been repaired. The inner walls were rustproofed and painted. So was the exterior. Also we put new panels inside the tank(lined the walls) in Stainless Steel. Jeep is currently in the Canopy place.

I dont remember anymore. Went through the forum to find it. But no luck. Made my own in 2012. Dad was quite active back then. But I dont think he logs in anymore. How the forum has changed. Devinda Z was THE man back then, most no of posts etc. Him and the Z were legends. And then he got a Land Rover which was also a hit in the forum. I have no idea what happened to my old account from 2007(was my dads really). Good times.

Hmmm. Fuel Consumption, market, and all considered. Axio seems better. The 240 allions design feels old to the majority of Toyota buyers. The prefer the regular looks of the Axio.

Its actually not that underpowered bro. I have driven only the 2.0 with 200 horses. But that thing crushed cars with waay more power. Power delivery is very good. Good start off the line. Ok. Quick look around says the lineup starts from 1.6L which has 154hp and 250nm. Not bad. The average weight is 1450kgs. Much better than any jap ecobox. Sadly the 1.6L seems to be from Renault(dont quote me on this) -

I understand. Tbh you Can find a C class under 13 mil. A full spec. Warranty given by the sellers leave alot to be desired. But SOME of them sales aren't TOO bad, but as always do your homework. Avoid air suspension. Those are the cars that for for 16mil plus. No bro. Sorry, we are not selling it. Its only got 10,610kms on the clock as of today. We maintain it like the queens water panties. Plus, I dont see what else to buy. New 5 series is tacky I think. E class is already replaced with a new design. I would say buy a C class. Wbt a pre-owned from D*MO with warranty? If you really want an A6, the 2016 up goes from 10mil onwards. Very,I mean VERY few made it to SL with the 3.0 engine. Plus 90% non Quattro. Thel higannas have a heart attack when I prove the 3.0 v6 Supercharged quattro car does 7 in the city and 15 outstation(I kid you not). You could be doing 200 with the rpm under 2000(shift to 7th gear using pedal shifters, cruise control on. Enjoy the sound from the 14 Bose speakers and that sub on the back) -
Almost anything is better than a WagonR. Toyota's aren't the most cheap to run FYI. Our resident JDM Guru @iRage will explain you the details.

Well there are enthusiasts who do crave for these....yes..they were not very popular because of certain things as @MrCat stated...but that by itself seems to be a reason for its desirability. At the end of the day it is totally a matter of personal preference.

Both have been abused. The general public prefers the 141 Axio over the 240 allion. Allion is bit more better to drive. You cant go wrong with either, get it inspected. Lots of lemons in the market. Bargain hard. but if I were you, I’ll buy something else. FD1/ Lancer EX to name a few.

Try the NY stock exchange. Stick to known companies. Big players. Eg-apple,starbucks etc. Its a heavy race. Tread carefully.
