  1. I think for the Sri Lankan market it comes as Nissan Dualis
  2. Mazda RX8, but a registered one might be about 3.5 M
  3. I completely agree that desire of body shape is individualistic. But here I mentioned it considering the socially accepted way Anyway about the interior measurements I did a search on Honda official website and nissan website. According to them 2012 Xtrail has a few more cubic ft. of passenger volume than CRV 2013.
  4. As this goes on..... I might say Resale Value RAV4 > CRV > X-TRAIL Body Shape CRV > RAV4 > X-TRAIL Space XTRAIL > CRV > RAV4 Comfort CRV > RAV4 > XTRAIL Off road Performance RAV4 > XTRAIL > CRV which makes hard to choose, all of them have their ups and downs. But if you're a Sri Lankan I think you should go for a RAV4
  5. Don't go soft on 4WD man! Similar topics have been discussed regarding RAV4, X Trail & CRV. Do search
  6. Anyway its the first time I heard 141 does 12-14,if you have 4 M you better buy allion 2007/2008 when the prices are reduced. We cant say what will happen after the budget.
  7. I suggest allion 2007,premio 2008,prius 2009(3rd gen). And you said corrolla 141 and axio are similar. They might be similar by interior and exterior but 141 sucks when it comes to fuel consumption and resale value. And most of them were manufactured in Malasia. Resale value of a 2008 141 is around 2.7 M while axio of the same year goes aroud 3.2M. I agree that 141 is spacious and has those fancy rear arm rest and all,but you have to agree that axio is everyway better than 141. And how did you manage to travel about 75 km a day with that 141 dude. I know it only does around 6-8 kmpl and it might have cost you about 1700/= a day. You could have rented out a house from where you work for that money man! ;-)
  8. Yah ,poor me
  9. other than the cars you mentioned - nissan n16,march ak12, toyota carina ti myroad,
  10. I don't know man, if you are not an off road type of person or not planning to tow anything , why are you buying a patrol in the first place? You can buy one of those so called suvs and live happily ever after.
  11. RX8 for 2.8 M ? great!:-D
  12. There is no need to maintain resale values by lying about hybrids. Allions and axios always have a good resale value because they are economical on fuel, low maintenance cost, availability of spare parts, ,etc. And if electric leaks are bullshit why are there reported incidents in last few years? Sure, that's a possibility. But the odds are very low comparing with hybrids having electric leaks. And I agree that solar generated electricity should be used, otherwise there is no point.
  13. There are no hybrid users in Sri Lanka who bought them to 'save the world'. They just buy it because they are said to be 'economical' and look modern. Some buy it as a trend. They are not that economical after all. One of my friend prius 2011 owner said averagely it does about 18km/l on long runs. Even 2008 axio does somewhat around 17km/l on long runs(without A/c). The most frightening part is that they have to change the battery in 5-7 years depending on the condition of it. It also costs about 500k-600k. And during accidents there is a high risk of electric leaks and get the vehicles burnt.(few incidents happened already). If they really want to save the planet they should go for electric vehicles such as Nissan leaf.
  14. My nephew has a car for this price which has an electric motor and two pedals. Very low maintainance (nothing at all) only have to change the batteries once in six months. One seater. And has a benz logo. Bought for 30k. Will sell it for your price
  15. Biggest joke of the year!
  16. Good idea. I'm working on it.
  17. Yah! Sorry my bad. I never thought they would go this cheap
  18. You have no idea my friend
  19. First you should be more specific about what you mean by 'car'. Are you looking for a sedan or a hatchback with good fuel economy? If it is a sedan, manual nissan fb15, manual toyota AE 100 would suffice your needs. If it is a hatchback viva elite, suzuki swift jeep model, nissan march k11 would be better
  20. 240(2004) does 7-9km/l in city limits while 260(2007) does 11-13km/l. Long distance 240 does 12-14km/l and 260 about 15-17km/l. 260 has better interior & exterior than 240.In every way 260 is a better option. But I seriously doubt that you would find one within your price range (3.5-4) A 2007 260 might be at least 4.2M
  21. Actually that's my 'signature'. It's my axio 2008. The one I mentioned was 121 G grade 2004 which you could buy around 2.8M
  22. What about corolla 121? G grade
  23. Go for the allion. Axio hybrid car is smaller, less leg space and the interior is hopeless.
