thank u very much harshansenadhir and Devinda .... but the engine is not that old, we have used this kind of engine morethan 300,000 kms without any problem.. this has only about 155,000 kms. thats why im wondering what this is... also the vehicle is not been used daily and im using it only in the weekend and for long trips.... thanks again btw, do u know how much it will cost to replace tappets ???

thanks guys... Engine is a EFI turbo engine ( It’s a Toyota Hiace Super Custom). It has 155K kms on the clock and I just thought of doing a tune up. And there’s a small sound coming from the engine when its going slow. A friend of mine said its coming from tappet or something… is it possible to get rid of this sound ???

i think intercooler model came with a 2.8 engine, not 2.5 .... am i correct ??? anyway u dont need to do any engine repair (except the t-belt) @ 100-150K km if it maintained properly ....

i dont think u could find a vios engine for that price....

lalithster, i think u have a hiace with 3.0 EFI turbo engine, thats the highest capacity engine came for hiace as i know. this is the same engine which PRADO has. if u r having this van, u can get 3.0 Mil +. bacause these are original passenger vans not like common hiaces in SL. check the model number, if it is KZH110. thats the model im talking about... say 3.5mil minimum, thats the market price for ORIGINAL PASSENGER HIACE WITH 1KZH ENGINE this is the 3.0 engine

depends on the grade u r looking for ... super GL's goes around 2.5 and up i think... there were few on AL classifieds too. btw, i went to a carsale in kirulapna in weekend and shock with the price they said for the new HIACE.... guess ???? its 11 mil... 110 laks !!!
